  1. In SE WI I put the course in daily and take it out. Only did it once this year it was a PIA-but will get better with more help and experience setting it. That’s my fault due to work sked. Will try to get it in much more often next season. I have a few BOS members in the area that will be able to take advantage of the course. EVERYONE is welcome to ski with me...My Brendella has Stargazer PP (latest version) and someone else had I believe a MC. It’s all on me that the course didn’t go in more...at my level of suckage I need all the course time possible.
  2. Maybe that was the “secret” training! Chow down a monster burrito, make an awesome high scoring pass (so there wouldn’t be a runoff if tied) and make a dash to the Port O Let!
  3. Those are ALL very cool...anyone have some donor wood skis? My GF’s 14 yr old son is getting into woodworking and just finished some slat chairs in the same style...he would have fun with skis...
  4. I have the Boost- it’s awesome. Depending on how much air you let out of it when you’re in the water you can make it like you’re vacuum packed...great freedom of movement, the extra room is nice in my opinion. The Boost should be warmer since you can wear sweats or as much clothing as you need under it and still have room. The Neo does look better...but I will take the extra room and warmth vs being fashionable any day.
  5. President of the company I work for lives on this lake...I’m flying down there today to pick him up...would have came down early to watch the event...next year for sure...
  6. Here’s one with the body off...not too many people get to see it like this... Have the old motorhome body off my T-600 now, waiting on the tag axle and frame to arrive. Have the interior of the new body laid out, but it will probably change...
  7. Here’s the jet truck...kind of a busy photo...was doing a display...
  8. Building a 36 ft toy hauler conversion...5500 pound lift in the back, half race car hauler (or my Edge, dirt bikes, snowmobiles etc) half living quarters. Going on my Kenworth T-600 chassis. Adding 17 feet of frame, moving the drive axle back 12 feet and adding a 20K tag axle (for more braking power). 4th (and last) one I’ve built...
  9. The thoughts from some who sucks at course skiing is with a decent skill set you should be able to ski behind anything...in fact, skiing behind a “more difficult” wake would/should make you a better skier. I’m sure any of the open skiers could rip a 39 off pass behind my Brendella (probably not with me driving though!). A bit of a thread drift here: I would LOVE to see a spec ski for the open rated skiers (or anyone who wanted to compete in a “spec ski” class) “pick your length, here’s your ski, 2 passes to get the feel-start at what ever line length you’re comfortable at”. Would really showcase your skill set...a mid range ski rather than the super exotic competition skis- equivalent to a Radar Katana or something on that line... Know it would NEVER happen...but would be fun to watch and ski (that’s what this is supposed be about-right???) throw some $$ in and make it a paid exhibition... Sorry for the drift...flame away-taking cover...

Don’t really know...I’m sure someone here does-mine is a ‘89... I do know it has a better wake than the ‘79 Stars and Stripes I also ski behind...
  11. Same deal with my breaks...when I was in the ER the morphine only worked for about 10-15 seconds... Then I maxed out on allowable dosage...long story short my leg was set with no pain meds...a lot of bad words were said; I almost passed out from the pain. None of the “conventional” opioids worked for pain management on me. Tramadol did to some extent... You have a long road to recover, but you will get thru it...one hour, one day, one week at a time-you will be able to ski again at some point. I doubt next season, but maybe... Reach out to me as well if you like... Dave
  12. Here’s one we did for my truck...https://youtu.be/IquPn-Skf7w This vid was done by my former sister in laws son, he was going to film school at the time. I would like to do an updated version with new music for my website...thedragonsfyre.com
  13. Thanks Marcus-no rush...Thanks Bracemaker as well...
  14. @BraceMaker For what ever reason on my IPad or desk top the music info doesn’t show up- Any chance of providing S4E4 music information? It’s the ‘17 Hilltop ProAm.... Last one, I promise!! Thanks! DM
  15. @BraceMaker where does it show the link on YouTube? On my IPad it doesn’t show a link (unless I’m missing it someplace...)
  16. @BraceMaker - AWESOME! Must have missed the link.... BMI probably owns the rights...used them before for our videos... Thanks again....
  17. This one is kinda out there, but the BOS braintrust never ceases to amaze me! Looking for the background music from S5E2 Hilltop ProAm FlowPointTV episode.... Reached out to MB but I’m sure he’s kinda busy... TIA
  18. Tibia is the big one, Fibula is the smaller one...I had a double compound fracture of both- Tib came out above the ankle,Fib below the knee. I’m sporting a 16 inch titanium rod, 2 plates and 8 screws. 6 months to recover, had to learn to walk again. Therapy 3X per week, 2+ hours-I had 0 range of motion in my ankle. Hope your recovery is quicker, easier...I had an awesome sports medicine orthopedic surgeon- would suggest getting surgery/treatment options. Mine would have healed without all the hardware, but a much longer recovery time. My accident was in 2008, not a skiing or racing incident. Best wishes for a quick recovery...
  19. FYI- if you use Stabil fogging oil and crank the engine without either removing the plugs or disabling the ignition, the engine MAY start...might get your full attention if you’re not expecting it...

Will see if I can find some tabs... It’s a pretty nice little boat- motor runs like new, I added the Stargazer 3 event PP (know the hardcore guys don’t like Stargazer but it works great for me) separate GPS speedo (purchased that before the PP) a nice bimini, appropriate tasteful Radar stickers and it sounds bad ass... @Brooks- an older boat can use some “Radar Love” too...like a rope holder/engine cover sleeve -just say’n!

@eleeski - no trim tab on this Brendella...it’s just an experiment at this point (and a excuse to be on the water) the most logical thing would be to run the fuel tank lighter and use the 5er’s...
  22. Seems like a very reasonable price...are there association fees or water right fees?
