@Horton Buford Danger, American Water Skier: You're funny. And the following sentences would have been spoken by a 9 yo, approximately never. 🙂

@Horton thanks for the feedback. What are your thoughts about a 2024 Vapor running 30 MPH? Radar literature states the Vapor is for 32-36 MPH. I start the season off running mostly 30 MPH then start bumping to 32 MPH, rarely running 34 MPH. If you think the Vapor will perform well at 30 MPH, what length should I use 66" or 67"? My weight is 160-170#.
Thanks for your input.
My opener is 26mph and I run up into 32mph. I have had no issues with the vapor at even those slow speeds.

Yesterday on Lake Weir. Water 63, air 72. My buddy Steve, first day out in the boat driving, 2 months after open heart surgery. He loved every minute of just being out in the boat and enjoying the Lake.
Give Steve a big hug from me, please!

@Horton I ordered one of those Camaro shorty's earlier this year. I love that wetsuit.

@Shell Well our presence is certainly at 150% but as for the total number of females on this site... That is a much lower number.

This last season my boy was running run into 36 mph; it took him 5 passes to get there (all @28 off). There's nothing wrong with running passes and nothing worse than a MOP.
I completely agree. As long as I run my opener, everything else is gravy. It’s that score at 2 or 3 balls, that just kills you.

@Horton I’ve even run many a 24mph pass on the vapor. Those who know me know how much I whine and complain about my opening speed, but I know with 100% certainty I will run it. So I will continue to run that as my opener until I get farther into 32mph.

@Horton @ColeGiacopuzzi do you see any issue using the new Vapor at slower speeds? Just learning the course and I’m really slow - 28-30. I’ve always figured that’s what the Senate is for (which is what I’m on), but this review has me thinking.
My opener is 26mph running up into 32mph. I skied on @Mastercrafter’s 24’ vapor this fall on the short/deep settings and had no issues skiing 26mph - 5@30mph .
I’ve been on a 2020 vapor since fall of 2020 at those slow speeds and never had an issue.
Can’t wait to get on the 24’ vapor I just received.

@Kimbymon Just come to Florida. Skied Saturday and Sunday morning on Lake Weir. Always room in the boat for one more, ask Steve about last winter skiing here.
You guys are the best! Karen Matyniak and I would like to come down sometime this winter when Steve is down there too. We definitely want to ski.
My RTP was just delivered thanks @perfski and it looks like the new Vapor front boot will be here tomorrow.

Used an older masterline rope to measure cord length needed for a portable generator. It's -28off from the basement window to the fridge. 🤣

@Mastercrafter If you get the Blue Vapor that is a reason to order a new blue ProStar.
Don't give him any ideas. @Mastercrafter collects prostars like others collect tchotchkes.

The 4th Annual Kim’s Water Ski Classic was a smashing success. We had 19 skiers take part. Conditions were fantastic and we all had a fabulous time.
I want to thank my friends for helping me pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you. @Mastercrafter thank you for the use of your ProStar. @MISkier thank you for driving. And for driving me to my best pass of the season so far. @DaveD for your donation of raffle items. @Sedge for the SLines Ropes, handle and KD junior combo skis that we raffled off. @PSM for the donation of ProGear Gloves and PureFood protein powder. @Horton for running my ads for this event year after year.
I hope I have not forgotten anyone . Attached are a few of the pics that were taken. I will have more once I get those back from my photographer .
