Well, I thought losing a diamond earring was bad enough, but tonight I topped that. I lost my insulin pump... I have no idea if it is at the bottom of the lake or what? I simply cannot find it. A frantic call to Medtronic, they are sending a replacement overnight, call to the on-call doc to get long acting insulin, as I don't have any. And a trip to Walgreens 20 minutes before they close because they couldn't just sell me a single vial of insulin. I had to have a prescription. Good Lord. What an evening.

@VONMAN lets be honest, @PSM is like the local "crack" dealer with those gloves, he will even deliver them to you. :D I will say I have been very happy with my ProGear gloves.

It would take an act of congress to get my husband to attend a water ski tournament.

@dammeyer11 @MISkier yes, Elizabeth is private. Club royale is the marina off of cass elizabeth lake rd. I don’t believe you can launch a boat from that marina unless you have a slip there. Wakeboard clinic run by Brian Snabes runs out of there as well. He bought the ski school that was on pine lake from Dirk Dzierawski

Went down to Florida last week. Hit LaPoint @lpskier it was so nice to meet you. Skied with Boris Laval, got coaching from @theboardingschool (Freddie winter) @FWinter and hung out with @VONMAN on lake weir.

Just wanted to say that perfski is awesome. Stopped in on Thursday night with some friends, 20 minutes before closing and they stayed open for us until 6:30.

If @MISkier isnt wearing a drysuit yet, you will be just fine. I suggest checking with him for wetsuit/heater top/ drysuit suggestions. ?

@NSski long lake in traverse city has a course tucked on the side of one the islands on the lake.

@Ski_Dad that is the only way I know how to deep water start. I can’t get up with both feet in to save my life. As @Bruce_Butterfield says, drag your rear foot like a rudder. Keep it close to your body and put in the rtp as soon as you are standing. Easy peasy.
