  1. Dang I loved that show. Always took the kids to it when we were up there for a week of vacation.

    Re-power?

Buddy of mine did a 409 with an 80A transmission a few years back in his 2001 SN for about 12k but I think it’s more like 18k now

    Re-power?

Been free skiing for 5 years and I got into the course a little last year. Boat is in great shape with a new interior. I’d like to keep it for a long time. I regularly ride behind a 2001 19 skier and a 2016 prostar. My boat is be far the best tracking and has as good if not better wakes at 30 mph or faster. I’m leaning twa keeping my eyes open for ZO reman but the the rising prices to do that are amazing.

    Re-power?

@skimtb No it was mechanical throttle but a MPI fully set up. I’d reuse my transmission. PP should be able to change over and I would add z box.

    Re-power?

Has anybody used the michiganmotorz option. They have a couple options that run about 10k

    Re-power?

My 2000 Ski Nautique has the 5.0 PCM with PP stargazer 9.2. It runs well but as I progress in my skiing it is becoming noticeable on how it won’t quite pick me up always when I’m skiing well. My buddies 5.7 does great and that is more appealing (easier to sell my wife on) than a 409 conversion. Will I be regretting this decision in a couple years, and what is a zero off capable engine set up going to cost.

    WTF?!?!?

I’m with @6balls. Looks just like my 2000 Ski Nautique on the bottom. I’m really confused by the top deck. Wouldn’t want to slow down too quickly, that’s for sure.
  8. Lazy gate this morning. Now it hurts to take a deep breath and cough and laugh. Think it’s bruised. It’s tender right under my pectoral muscle where it attaches to my sternum.
  9. My 2000 Ski Nautique. Waiting for my ski buddy to park the truck. Love the mornings, usually the only ones on the water. Sunrise in a boat?
  10. The hair dryer works great with intuition liners. Just do it when you’re wife’s not home or she will come into the garage and see what your doing and think your burning up her hair dryer.
  11. T6 driver will get the boa Open and you can temporarily fix the cable
  12. Just got rid of 2016 Expedition. Was at the 100k mark and starting to get pricey in maintenance. Loved the fit and finish of the Ford but went with a new Chevy Suburban because the longevity of the turbos is a concern for me. Love the extra room on the suburban and it’s a really nice ride. More than enough for our little Ski Nautique. I also have 2016 f150 (work truck) that I’ll run till it dies that’s still going strong at 80k. The extra room on the suburban and expedition el is really nice.
  13. Thanks @fu_man. Got a set ordered. Glad they broke instead of my ankle but it’s a bummer when it’s the first set on a Saturday morning.
  14. Any good source for replacement boa laces. Had my front pop this morning and my rear is looking a little rough.
  15. @oldjeep yep skied 4 times this week. Going to ski more next week. Ready for some balls?

    OHIO to OREGON

$1 per mile?. I vote road trip. Bonus is water test before your committed. Only out the cost of driving.
  17. Our work load is strong, we just don't incure unnecessary expenses right now. My wife is a hair stylist, so she is out of work. We are well positioned with no debt and preaty decent rainy day fund. Once my wife can work she's going to be crazy busy too.
  18. First year we had out Ski Nautique we went up to my wife’s home town for the 4th. Was out of my routine, chaos of 5 excited kids in the boat. Floated away from the trailer and both bilge pumps just pumping water like crazy. Drain plug still in the cup holder. Was a hectic 30 sec thinking I’m going to drown my kids, niece, nephew and boat. I was able to fumble through getting the plug in although I might have scared the crap out of the kids.
  19. thats The biggest piece of bait I’ve ever seen. He better watch out it’s crawling back in the boat!
  20. @LOTW amen to that. Just warmed up to 45 degrees for a day, but its going to be 20 tomorrow. I just sit in my boat in the shed and dream of next season
  21. I think it would be an interesting game to try to invest (someone else's money) in the items that would make the most difference in thier personal performance Now your talking. I love spending other people's cash?
  22. I have skied the 14 senate 15 nano 1xt and am currently on a Syndicate Omni. The Omni is effortless to ski, I’ll do 10 pass sets on it, where my Nano 1xt will wear me or by six passes. I ski both because I really like how fast and aggressive my Goode is, but I am starting to ski the course now and find progress is better on my Omni.
  23. I’ll give that a try too. Scrubbed them up with dish soap tonight when we went out. Couple of sets so we have to see how my ankles react.
  24. I’ll have to try washing it. I was soaping up at first, but as I broke them in it’s not necessary now.
