  1. Joel is as good as it gets. Not vary many of us are willing to build what we need to ski. He does it and doesn’t give be a rip what everyone thinks. The dude is full in, and I wish I had his commitment.
  2. Prayed a prayer for you and your family. Such a tough time right now.
  3. The Ski Nautique and SNOB from 1997-2002 are identical in almost every way. The difference is to fit the basket open bow, the helm and observer seat moved back 8”. they ski the same and both track like great. The cabin of the SNOB does get a little cramped with 4 guys ski gear. I have a 2000 SNOB and one of my ski partners has a 2001 closed bow. We both have Re-powered for zero off and I feel they are very comparable to most modern ski boats in feel.
  4. This guy may be a great guy, but as a law enforcement offficer you have to a line. I was an MP for 10 years. I couldn’t act like an grunt or even a marine. Fair or not your heals to a higher standard because your enforcing the law.
  5. Go with the one with the highest bunks in relation to the wheel wells. A 200 is wider and will not fit between the wheel wells on the 196 trailer.
  6. For me it’s mostly hope, but I loose it all a 2 ball. oh and tape measure, caliper, epoxy, tape , screws, multi tool and screwdriver
  7. I was told to measure from the lowest point where the boot meets the plate
  8. 3 guys run 41 today. Is this what we now will expect to be run to win a tournament?
  9. Looks like Fred is the winner. Congratulations Freddy
  10. I’m sad to see this. With water being higher thsn most years our west.
  11. @LeonLIf 35 is really the optimal speed for supper short line, it would be really cool to have an exhibition invitational, where you could pick your speed and get as far down the rope as possible. A special 4th of July extravaganza 😁
  12. I’m with @swc5150 don’t think I can honestly judge the Color till I see it from the water waiting to get pulled into the course😂
  13. I watched it and that’s what he ran.
  14. Did they say no gates on his 41?
  15. Nice, another one with a tower
  16. Here one guy who's got his sh@# together. Thank goodness for Bob
  17. I agree, the soft knees can go bad. If the angle is to much, or you get deep on the turn and get crushed, all your speed is gone. I clearly don’t have this figured out and am working on keeping my stack, so @Hortonoriginal concept is much more applicable to me. I just thought Freddy’s coaching added an interesting nuance to this.
  18. @Hortonthe soft knees point is to flex at the ankles, let the knees absorb the wakes but keep the shoulders, hips and ankles stacked. point your knees where you want to go is what I kept hearing.
  19. @Horton I get the main concept of (squeeze), but I have been coached by Fred to not be stiff legged (soft knees). Does this fit in your concept, or am I missing the point and time of your concept.
  20. I take it there’s no video coverage of the prelim rounds. I didn’t see anything.
  21. Removing the tank sucks, but I have found I can loosen it and stick some blocks under it to hold it up so I can service the rudder. I do this once or twice a season. 2000 ski nautique but looks identical fuel tank setup
