  1. @pcmcon729 How do you feel about the 9970cc now? Give us an update.
  2. How much wider is the wide ride than the xtr?
  3. Shipped a 69” HO syndicate omni last week in the original box from Alabama to Colorado. Shipped UPS and insured for $600. Cost was about $71.
  4. Congrats. I come to or through Chattanooga often from down in Tuscaloosa. I may hit you up.
  5. @kylegansel what length Omni are you on and what are your fin settings? I have a 69” but just bought a 67”. The ho website says dft is .730. My fin on the 67 will only go back to .830. Any suggestions @savaiusini?
  6. @UWSkier you hit the nail on the head. “It’s better to not know what some people think sometimes”.
  7. @kylegansel yes that’s it. @savaiusini thanks. I wasn’t sure if it fit with the Omni being wider.
  8. @savaiusini does HO have a neoprene sleeve that will fit the syndicate Omni?
  9. Still looking for a 67” HO syndicate omni.
  10. Have you checked ski-it-again? I think I saw one on there in the last few days. Do you need bindings also or just the plate?
  11. @Dockoelboto a tap here and a bump there. That’s how one of my ski pals does it.
  12. I have a Syndicate omni. As the name says it is part of the syndicate line of skis. I believe It’s meant as more of a true crossover ski for the guy that’s actually trying to run the course. There is a video of @Horton running 28 & 32 off at 34mph on here. Also videos of Marcus Brown running passes. I think the Carbon Omni would be better suited for the open water/occasional course skier or someone just starting to learn to run passes. I think they are great skis. Last year was my first year back on the water in 15 years. The Omni made deep water starts easier and has allowed me to run passes to get back in ski shape and work on form/technique. I’m a left foot forward skier and used to hold the handle opposite what is taught. I’ve changed my grip and went from double Goode hardshells to the syndicate hardshell and rtp. I think the Omni made these transitions a little easier.
  13. $19,900. They bought it new with no trailer. They live on a lake so it’s been hanging in a boat house with a cover on it since new. Looks like a little fading at least on the back.
  14. @Horton what do use to video? We have the Wakeye app on a iPhone and I believe that brand pylon mount also. Not near as clear as yours.
  15. I agree with the extreme transition. I probably couldn’t have done it had I not Just started back skiing last year from a decade long lay off. And I’ve thought about putting the r-style back on every time that back heal slides around after a bad turn.
  16. Last year I swapped from double Goode hard shells to the syndicate hard shell. I first tried the reflex rear r-style, but then bought a rtp. Still using the rtp this year. Mind over matter. If you can get the “mind” ok with it then it don’t matter.
  17. I’m Brian, will be 55 in 2 days, started skiing when I was 10. Open water only from age 10(1975) then started course skiing in the early 90’s. By 1997 I started skiing on a private lake in Tuscaloosa, Al called Lymanland. Stopped skiing around 2005 due to my job and kids having other interest. Started back last year(2019). Ski with @Booze and at least one other member on here.
  18. I’m still new and that “bye” kinda hurt my feelings. Hate to feel what you guys that have been here awhile feel.
  19. Thanks @Garn. I really want to stick with the syndicate Omni. I currently have a 69” syndicate omni but would like to step down to a 67” ski.
  20. Thanks. I have a connection to get a new one. Was hoping to find a gently used one.
  21. Looking for a HO Syndicate Omni 67”. Anybody got one they’d part with or know where one is?
  22. @savaiusini you have settings for the 69” syndicate omni? I’m using the syndicate hardshell with a rtp.
