  1. There’s a lot of body position and alignment things to remember in each pass and it becomes very difficult to remember everything once the adrenaline kicks in. Do you have any on shore drills or workout techniques that you do to help build that into your muscle memory out on the water? Thank you both for a great podcast! It’s helped me out a bunch.
  2. @The_MS I figure GOAT doesn’t stand for any farm animals... but what DOES it stand for? ?
  3. I have very little rhyme or reason to my methods, but when trying to master a new line length I go back and forth a lot between slowing the boat and shortening the line. (If you’re trying to master 22 off, try a few at 28) Slower passes will give you time to focus on form and technique, but don’t lose your touch with faster boat speeds either. A coach told me once also, that stepping up to the next line length teaches you to be more aggressive even on a longer line. Hope this helps. Happy skiing.
  4. Action should do a guessing game for the peasants and whoever can guess how much it goes for gets a $100 AWS gift card ?
  5. I’ve noticed the past two years my best skiing is late August-early September and then I never ski that well again for the rest of the season. I’m curious if water cooling off is playing a role.
  6. I asked on another site and haven’t heard back yet... does Radar send an email confirmation after you sign up? I don’t want to have the same thing happen as last year.
  7. @ForestLake Awesome! Keep us posted. I’ll keep an eye on your website for details too.
  8. What does annual membership to be able to ski here cost?
  9. I ride Radar Senate in the course a lot. I think it would be a good crossover between course and free skiing as I do some of that too when there isn’t a course available.
  10. My biggest injury was from failure to stretch and warm up properly.
  11. Maybe not the best sight for this but wondering if there is anyone in West Michigan that skis late afternoons and needs a 3rd... or would mind taking on a 4th? Just want to get more course time and Michigan courses are all on private water. I’m just south of GR. Would love to meet new people.
  12. It should shoot them farther ahead so there is more time to see it. And it should turn red :)
