  1. When can we expect an update?
  2. Bringing friends and families together, changing health lifestyle, let's share how skiing has changed your life for the better.
  3. I live on an Ohio river backwash creek, you never know when you will get a flash flood so you don't want to overspend on something that could be swept away. That being said after a flash flood damaged my new 2004 Response LXI I decided to go a different way. 1994 Ski Nautique $4,500 owned 12yrs Used lift with motor $1,600 owned 12yrs Pontoon boat. $1800 owned 13yrs Dock. Built 1992
  4. Travel to different sites all around the country meeting new friends in the skiing community.
  5. First time I went to ski school I was in my mid 40s and I would only be able to deep water start 1 out of 3 tries. I had a blast and learned a lot of good drills to work on in open water to get ready for the course. I highly recommend it. As LoopSki said you will be hooked!
  6. I bought my 1994 SN slant back 12 years ago for $4500 with 200 hrs on it. This is it this summer at 1200 hrs and still love it.
  7. It matches my new running shoes
  8. @H20kieNC I started garmin on ski platform and stopped when finished set. Next time I will start garmen right before pull out and stop after exit gate on each pass.
  9. My wife is a 30mph 15 off skier, 197 MC is her favorite because of soft wake. I ski at a shorter line and find the wake fine. I would suggest considering zero off over pp if possible when looking into a boat.
  10. I was playing with my garmin watch under bike mode, I don't know how accurate but this was 34mph 32 off
  11. Just an fyi, I set my timing magnets 2 feet under the height of gate ball on different down line zip tied together, less chance of someone snagging or hitting them with their fin ect.
  12. Ski-it-again has some for sale under speed control
  13. Looking for skins for my 1994 SN, any thoughts on where I can buy some at a reasonable price.
  14. How much current does your river have? Flash flooding? Debris? Commercial fisherman (catfish traps) Barges? I have been putting my course in for over 20 years on the Ohio River and lost it for all those reasons. It sounds like you just might be on to something, I am very interested in how this works for you. Good luck!
  15. Just to let you know all of us river rats from Kentucky are sending our love and prayers. Your uncle Joe skied with us when he lived in Cincinnati and would tell us great stories about your dad.
  16. One of my ski buddies is 78 and he bought his first ski boat this year a 1998 Response lx and we can't keep him off the water. He is skiing into 32 off almost everytime out. He's never been in a tournament but this just might be the year!
  17. Start out slow and easy. Stretch, planks, push ups, pull ups, run and or elliptical. Again stretch, stretch and stretch. Tie handle to post and practice dry land skiing, walking through skiing motions, hand grip and reach also do sets of leaning away drills.
  18. Insta-slalom seems to work well for my public course.
  19. Where are you located? Here's a few you can try.
  20. Time to start putting weight limits on boat judges
  21. Check with your doctor first. After surgeries on both hands, I started hanging from handle. Now after years, part of my workout is doing one hand grip pull ups.
