    1. Stitches over left eye from knee in slalom crash 2. Broken ribs from barefoot tumble turn through another boat's wake 3. Broken wrist/muscle damage from arm going through handle falling while doing neck hold barefoot 4. Hyper extended ankle trying a flip wakeboarding 5. Water pressure where it should not go (use your imagination) None caused lasting issues

    The mildew in the pores of the vinyl are nearly impossible to remove. Starbrite will take the farthest. Some of the vinyl in my Nautique has pores, some not. Sad to see this is still an issue on newer boats. Mine is a 2000.

    Friend had similar issues last year on same boat. Rebuilt carb didn't fix it. Was fuel pump diaphragm.

    Minor scratches you can do by hand with a polishing compound. The wheel is the way to go for larger areas. My 2000 Nautique had some major fading/chalkiness, especially on the tan stripe. I wet sanded with 2000 grit then buffed it with a wheel and polishing compound. I was happily surprised how well it came out. Like new.

    The following winter I towed my Nautique to FL with a friend and found a lake in the middle of some orange groves. Dumped it in from shore and skied a course there. A woman was watching from shore so we went over to talk. Turned out it was Deena. She was cool and warned us about shallow areas. She could not believe we just found the site but we did.

    Was at the '87 in Charlotte, MI. Fun times. Asked Camille for a smooch in the autograph line but was shut down.
