  1. I imagine those who are attending nationals will be able to get a first look: mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=48697&page=5
  2. a friend of mine learning to run 35. vid cap from 3 years ago, sorry about the quality..
  3. I'm last place M5 skier in most all the tourneys I enter. Doesn't bother me a bit! I have a blast at tournaments for all the reasons other posters have outlined above. There are a few others at my ability level. The "hacker" club, we ski for a beer. Any scores into -35, and your out of the club! Fun stuff. All my "friends" are skiers, and I met most of them at tournaments. We have a very tight group here in NYS.
  4. I couldn't agree more... I wish I could just jump the wake on one of those slippery things as good as kids were doing on their warm ups.
  5. I believe the first 2 posts were refering to the Monday/Tuesday tournaments at McCormicks this week. CP and JT ran 41 Monday, and both cleared it Tuesday as well, along with Will.
  6. Any word on when the Camaro BlackTec will be available?
  7. spent nearly 8 years (3/98 - 11/05) skiing at least once a month in upstate ny (all winter skiing was in open water). The coldest we did was mid 20's air, water 33. As a side note, after not skiing in January since '05, we went 2 days ago. Air 50, water 43.
  8. English units rock! 12's are where its at... Think of the metric alternative's: 20 hours a day? 10 months a year? (Well maybe, if we get rid of Jan/Feb) A 5 pack of beer??????? These numbers just don't work....
  9. Love my Senate C, both in and out of the course. Generally happy to get something at 32, but I did have a tourny PB of 1 @ 35 on it last summer. My guess is either the Senate or Co-X would help you progress faster (and be more fun) than your old ski.
  10. Awsome ski for anyone working in open water to mid 35 (34mph), perhaps beyond.... I love mine!
  11. I'm also a mid 32 skier (hacker, you see!). I was skiing on an MPD for a couple years and was going backwards. Last summer I tried a used Senate C, and loved it. It was more forgiving than the MPD and really helped me become more consistant. I would recomend the Senate C to anyone at our level.
  12. Years ago, a kid asked for a re-ride because he thought he saw an Eagle... Heard a fun one this weekend: "This water is too wet."
  13. Chef 23, I once had a coach tell me to "open water" ski at 1 line length shorter than what you can run in the course. Not sure if that works but it's fun.
  14. GAJ0004; where in Pennsylvania are you? I (free) ski in a lake right on the northern border about 70 miles west of Binghamton NY.
