I would like to know if there are any skiers on the Elite that have had success with the VW and what # they have used?
I left all my settings as they where and just added the mini wing on the front of the fin. It felt just as stable and fast as it used to be, but was digging in way to hard at the finish of the turn even if I tried to back off. Is this something that others have experienced?
On the other hand, the water is much warmer now and I have some problem with the tip coming up at the end of the turn…maybe I should give it another try…

Counter rotation with shoulders at the completion of the turn..Is that not just another way to say, don´t rush the turn?

I would like to think of it as the counter rotation of hips and shoulders starts right behind the boat and is at its peak just before the turn. Then in the completion of the turn the shoulders are open to the boat while the out side hip is driven to the handle..starting the counter rotate process again.

Skibug,
You can convert your Solid Work file into an Edrawing. Then anyone who want´s to open it can download a free viewer. You can also convert it into an edrawing .exe file, but it might get stuck in the receivers firewall.

I understand the concept of the VW but can anyone explain why a bent wing would be better than a straight?

Winter is officially over! Big Mike and I had the first set of the year today. Temp was ok 50F/50F and a heat wave is forecasted for next weekend. Horton, the Stradas fits perfect and I think it will be a success.

Almost every time I sign in to BOS, not the test forum, I have to do it twice to be "signed in". "Save data form" does not help, "remember me" does not help either.

Minor problem, but why do I have to log in twice every time?

The season is winding down here so… What does a water ski pro do during the winter?

auskier,
I am going to Melbourne this winter, first week of January. Are there any ski lakes in the Melbourne area? Â
My name in the real world is Thommy Bergstrom. I am 49 years old married with 2 kids and we are living in Sweden. I am a sales engineer, selling aluminum profiles for machine building. I started skiing when I was about 23 years old and have been an addict ever since. Â I am a LFF and am skiing on an Obrien Elite. My PB is 4@38.

In my opinion…By the book. But when things are unclear or when in doubt if it is a missed gate or a quarter or a half ball the judgement should be in favour of the skier.  Tsixam

Why don´t you let Brent, Eric or MS take care of BOS while you are enjoying a well earned vacation? I can help them with a few updates and improvements. Tsixam

Every hotel in Europe usually has a guest computer in the lobby. You can get internet access for a small fee, then you would be able log in to edit BOS and to checking on us if you think that is necessary JÂ Tsixam

I think Brent is right. A “cash sim card†can be bought almost everywhere and is probably the cheapest way to be able to use your own phones.

Any shorts where the pockets don´t turn into elephant ears when I slam dunk 1-ball. I also like if I still wear them after 6 balls @ 38 after ZO.

Thanks for the input. I think it will be Strada.Â

34 vs 36
in Skis Fins Bindings
Posted
I have only been skiing at 34mph for about the last 3-4 years. Today I decided to try 36 mph to get ready to qualify for Open Nationals. To my surprise my ski really came to life and I was skiing better at 36 than on 34.
Are there any other skiers that shift between 34 and 36? Do you do any tweaking when going from one speed to another?
It feels like my ski is set up perfect for 36, a great feeling! I really would love if I could make my ski behave the same at 34 as it does at 36.
