I'm wonder how much the flex of the ski changes with the water temperature variations. Has anyone with a flex tester compared the flex pattern of a ski at 50degF and 90degF?

Looks like fuel cell boats may be an option in the UK soon. https://www.hydrogenfuelnews.com/hydrogen-car-bosch/8549471/ I believe a fuel cell will be a better option for club boats.

@lpskier If you could afford the 911, then you should be able to afford the driving lesson. You wouldn't want to wrap that thing around a tree, would you? @BTheis Same advice, get the shinny new ski (either one) and spend some money on lessons. Everyone on this site could use some coaching (especially me).

Haven't watched all of the tournament yet but was able to catch both Carl Roberge and Kristy Overton's interviews during yesterday's finals. Great to see them again. Did Sammy get interviewed too?

Tony's so good when he's has color support like he got from Freddie. It's too much to ask one person to commentate these long events by themselves. Slalom events today were second to none. Semi's and finals for both women and men were great!

Is today's skiing already wrapped up? The livestream says the event has started but it's off air.

I went to from a Wiley's high wrap rear to an HRT a couple years ago. Took about 1 set for the transition. @ballsohard is correct, much better when you don't crank it tight.

I think @horton is suggesting something that might get me to participate in a few tournaments each year. I can't stand 15off or skiing at 32mph, and don't consistently run 28off. That means a 22 opener and miss my 28off. Down and back. Last tournament I skied, I told the guy skiing after me to get his ski on, I'd be right back. I think John's suggestion needs some refinement to make everyone happy. How about allowing skiers to run their opener twice as long as they don't fall, but then they are limited to 4 passes, even if they complete their last pass? Maybe not for and L or R, but at least allow this at a C. I do agree that "opting down" is a silly suggestion.

With the number of day's you'll actually be able to ski on Lake Michigan being so few, I think you would be better served to buy a boat intended for inland lakes. If you want to wakeboard on Lake Michigan, you'll get more opportunity if you buy a kite to pull you around.

80's style neon ski gear. Everything I own seems to be black except my MSN gloves.

@Woody74 Get whatever size Radar's size chart recommends. If you are on the boarderline, I would recommend going to the larger size. Larger skis are less work and you shouldn't have problems getting it to turn if you set it up correctly.
