  1. Does anybody have a 2008-2009 right foot forward medium approach binding in new to excellent shape that they want to sell? Gotta be one sitting around somewhere, eh? Shoot me a message or you can call/text 260-402-6390. Thanks guys
  2. I don't know if its a matter of me loosing angle as much as it's a matter of me not having a very tight angle. Sometimes it feels more like a shallow arc vs a steep arc. Does that make any sense?  I will try and get some video of it so maybe you guys can disect my form a little better. It sounds like i'll ditch the bad form and work on my edge change a little more. I guess if that doesn't work i'll maybe make a fin adjustment.ÂÂÂ
  3. I think my preturn is relatively good and the early part of my turn is good (for me), but it seems like I lose angle on the last part of my turn. When skiing the course this ends up putting me behind in getting to the next ball. While out free skiing the other day I decided I was going to try and figure out how to get a more aggressive angle in my turns. One time, when I was working on getting a more aggressive angle, I pushed a little bit on my back leg at the end of my turn. It felt like I was just giving a little "snap" of pressure to my back leg, and then I would transition back in to a balanced stance after the turn was finished. It appeared like it helped finish out my turn. I started to work on doing that through each turn and it felt like I was getting a more aggressive angle on the finishing part of my turns. Prior to working on this technique (be it good or bad), I was relatively balanced on my feet through my turn. I haven't put this techninque in to practice out on the course yet. Is this a bad habit or a good habit to work on? Thanks  ÂÂÂ

  5. So your screws are mounted in the holes closest to the toe on both the front and the rear bindings? How in the world did that manage to screw that up so bad?? Nothing like having to saw on your brand new bindings to be at stock settings!!
  6. I told my buddy I would help him set up his 2007 Connelly 67" F1 with Draft bindings. The stock settings stated the binding setup needed to be: Rear heal of front boot to tail 29.125" (I think). I don't have the numbers in front of me right now, I’m out of town. Nonetheless, I measured it out, and it doesn't seem possible. Even if I went to the last hole in the front plate i'm still around 29.50", and that would require some filing because the cable attachment covers up the last hole a little bit. I called Connelly and spoke to one of their techs. He kept putting me on hold because he wasn't sure what the answer was. He finally got the numbers to me he said I needed to be in the center hole on the front binding plate, and in the second hole on the rear plate. After I set the bindings up like that I measured from the front heal to the tail of the ski, and it wasn't even close to being 29.125". My buddy wanted me to take his ski out and test it. Well, unfortunately, I did. On about my 12th pass (not feeling very comfortable); I went OTF coming from my strong side across the first wake (OUCH!!) I did one and half summersaults at mach 10 with the tail of the ski drilling me in the middle of the back (didn't even know that was possible). P.S. My face hit so hard on the water I had numb lips for about 20 minutes. I took about a 30 minute recovery period and then went out to try it again (a lot less aggressive). After several passes I was coming from my strong side back across the first wake and the ski wanted to throw me right over the front again. That was it for me. I put it in the bag, and told him I would do some more research on it. Fin setting is very close to stock settings. Do I just suck at this ski on stock settings or are the settings all messed up? Any suggestions?
  7. Kyle, whats the update on the Radar's? I have a monza with approach bindings, and have been thinking about switching to the RS-1's? Are you back to skiing sets like you were when running on your Animals, or are you still trying to get them figured out?  Also, my shoe size is a 9 1/2. You guys that have them do you recommend I go with the 9's or 10's? Thanks
  8. I have a 2007 67" Monza that I bought from Horton last year. I talked with you a little bit about getting it set up and ened up tearing my acl and meniscus wakeboarding :( before I was able to even use it. I don't think he skied more than a few sets on it, and its only been a wall flower for me (so far). We just got the boat in last week and i'm ready to get on the water. I would be interested in working out a trade for your 08 if that is something you're interested in, but don't want to sell it out right (cause I need a stick). I think I have your email address. I'll send this information to you as well. ThanksÂÂÂ
  9. I learned that a torn ACL in early June makes for one sucky summer!
  10. I had heard a rumor that Connelly was going to make some changes to the Draft bindings for 2008. Does anyone know if this rumor is true? If so, are the changes subtle or big? I'm trying to help a buddy get his  F1 set up. If the changes are subtle (color ect..) then he'll probably just get some of the 2007s. Your input is appreciated.
