  1. I had my left ACL and meniscus repaired Nov 19th, and had my right rotator and anterior labrum repaired Dec 2nd. It sucks being down. I hope I can get back on the water late May/early June. I'm confident my knee will be ready, but not sure about my shoulder. Frustrating!
  2. Ok, that's kind of what I was thinking, but wanted an educated opinion. Thanks
  3. I'm getting ready to order up a cover for my boat. The trailer I have is a drive on/drive off with the plastic v-shaped plates up front that you nose the boat into. There's an option, when ordering a cover, to get it with the bow cutout. I don't know what the cover looks like, and was curious if anybody had a picture they could post. 90-95% of the time the boat is up on the lift with the cover on it...when not in use. The 5-10% of the time that I trailer the boat.....the cover is usually off. I'm just not sure whether to get a full cover without the cutout, or to order the one with the cutout. If there's adequate coverage with the cutout......I might go that route, just so I have the option to trailer with the cover on (if I decide to). Thanks for any help.
  4. Looks like his boat driver bailed on him one too many times, and he said screw it!
  5. Confess to your wife that your addicted to porn. When she flips her lid about it,...............pull out a magazine with the new 2016 skis in it, and tell her......sorry. She'll be so relieved that's all it is, and encourage you to go look at the new skis! No? Maybe it's the other way around. Who knows
  6. Great product, but seems like that should be caught at quality control before being shipped out.
  7. @Ed_Johnson what kind of strap are you placing at the top of your rear liner? Thanks for the help
  8. I leave it on, and throw a fleece over it if I'm still cold.
  9. They should've given snorkels to the guys on the inside!
  10. @Ed_Johnson, I was looking at moving from double rubber bindings to this set up, but your saying it would be a huge adjustment. What do you recommend for me? Thanks
  11. @aupatking sorry to hear about your injury. I'm sitting with a torn rotator cuff and slap tear, so feel your frustration of having to sit out. I'm in the process of looking for a different binding and the reflex setup is one of the front runners. Do you think the reflex could have released sooner to prevent the break? It's great you didn't have an Achilles tear, but bummed to hear it didn't prevent the break. Thanks for any input.
  12. @swc5150 My guess is it was a mistake by somebody. I too love those colors. Great looking boat. If it was an intentional dislike.......they're dead to me ;)
  13. The fingers will probably be skinny regardless of the size. I would just make sure the length is good for you. Great gloves aside from the skinny fingers. It must be the new fad. Skinny jeans, skinny gloves, and flat billed hats, lol.
  14. I'm interested in the product, and would like to give OB4 the benefit of the doubt. However, Eric has a point. If the rubber adhering to the mount is a known issue....why isn't this being fixed prior to being shipped out to the customer. Spending over a $1000 for a product and having to drive to the hardware store a short time later to buy glues or epoxies is not acceptable.....imo.
  15. @Texas6 that Responses is beautiful. I'm a CC guy usually, but that boat is sharp! If you're going to have a tower at least put some speakers on it so the skier can jam! :-)
  16. @Wish, How far up the line can you practice that drill, maintaining a stacked posture, and still be able to stay outside the buoy line?
  17. My fin has moved a couple times in the last 4 months. I'm not exactly sure how it's happening because it's in a padded bag all the time, unless it's in the boat. The first time I thought it might have bounced in the boat from hitting waves, so I made sure I laid the ski on its side from that point on. It seemed to move after doing that about a month later. Unfortunately, that's an aside to my question. I took off my fin fin block last night to make sure everything was clean and nothing was interfering with the screws securing the fin to the fin block. When I took it all off, I noticed some pitting or little chips on the underside of the ski by the fin slot. Is this something to be concerned about? I looked at my A1 and Monza and they don't have that happening to them. Any thoughts are appreciated thanks A
  18. Thanks skimech for the contact. I tried Trophy Lakes, but he hasn't been able to find me one yet. He's still looking around though, I think. Deanoski, the Approach binding is still the rubberized material with laces and a velcro strap.
  19. In Shawshank Redemption he carved an entire tunnel with a little rock hammer. Start chipping away at the sides of that tunnel for a few more inches!!!! It would probably have to be a night operation of course :-)
  20. I would use it as an end table conversation piece at the lake house, and pony up for a new one.
