  1. I have to work out of town on Monday, otherwise I'd be glad to get you out. Good luck, and I hope someone's available to get you guys on the water.
  2. I'm all for skiing in mother natures conditions, and dealing with the outcome. I don't know the masters environment, so can't speak intelligently on it. However, if random rollers were effecting skiers, I find it hard to argue in favor of that. In my opinion, rollers are not a part of mother natures conditions. Great scores were laid down at the masters, because at times, the conditions were great.
  3. Looks like a single plate for running releasable reflex bindings (both front and back). Minus the releasing hardware
  4. I'm curious as well. Does shoe goo or gorilla glue work good enough? @cacman, where'd you get your Velcro strap from?
  5. As long as you have a blue boat. Just kidding :)
  6. @RINLE your last comment hit the nail on the head. Tubing and surfing......unfortunately
  7. Thanks @adamhcaldwell. Look forward to the video!
  8. S2 is a great ski. She can't go wrong staying on it for awhile.
  9. It's more like taking a professional bowling tournament, and deciding to put random bumps in the lanes at the last minute...... :)
  10. "Every skier has the same chance of getting bad conditions." You're correct Miller.......it's left up to "chance." That's unfortunate......
  11. You can't create the same "random and unpredictable" conditions for everyone. Some will be more severe than others. More importantly, those random and unpredictable conditions can hit skiers at different points in the course. Somebody on edge across the course will get through those conditions better than somebody that is experiencing those through the turns. It's very unfortunate for all the skiers involved. Freddie is a machine though, and very happy for his results.
  12. @Chef23 , you definitely want to size up. I'm a 9.5 shoe, and the 10's are snug, but perfect for me.
  13. Great question. Not an exact comparison, but here's my experience with an ARC and Vapor. My buddy demo'd a 68" Arc S this summer, and I strapped my bindings on it for a weekend. I'm 175lb, so I think it was a pinch big for me, but what a great ski. I clearly see why they named it the "ARC." It offered the most predictable arcing turns I've ever experienced on a ski. If my form was a little off, it still came around just like it was supposed to. I was very close to buying one shortly after trying it out, but a good deal came up on a 67" 2017 Pro Build. I had read great things about the Pro Build, and even read some comparisons between the Vapor and ARC. I decided to pull the trigger on the Pro Build. I'm 3 weeks into the ski, and happy with the decision. The turns aren't as predictable, but the angle and space I'm able to get with the ski is rewarding. I'm still getting it dialed in, but look forward to where things are going. I personally don't think you can go wrong with either ski. If your weakness is in the turns, I would recommend the ARC. If you have trouble creating space and angle coming out of the turns......I would go with the Vapor. I'm sure others could offer a lot more details, but that's my .02.
  14. I'm 175 and can wear a 50lb backpack. Will this work?? :)
  15. Some of these responses are classic. Very entertaining!
  16. Anybody have an update on these?
  17. Type in "Reflex Waterski Binding System" on YouTube. The second half of the H20Proshop video is the installation of the Reflex R Style boot to the plate. I'd send a link, but I'm sure I'd mess it up.
  18. My local ski shop has both the 2016 and 2017 Radar Vice Gloves. Just checking to see if anyone has a preference on which ones to get? The 2017's feel like they are designed a little different.
  19. I would bet you have the actual 66" ski, it's just measured differently. I have a 67" VTR, and it barely fits in my HO ski bag that is designed for 67-69" skis.
  20. Is Nate even awake in that pass? It's ridiculous how comfortable he looks....
  21. I was on M approach bindings and went with the 8-9 HO Hardshell. My foot measured just over 26cm, and I wear a size 9-9.5 shoe.
