  1. Thanks for all the advice, I will give it a try.
  2. My toes hit the front of the grey cuffed liner; but, the solid black seems way too loose. Should there be such a size difference between the two when they are both sized the same?
  3. I bought an E-series binding. The Intuition liner that came with the binding (gray cuff) is universal (7). The extra (solid black) liner is also universal (7). The one that came with the binding (gray cuff) seems to be a bit small.  The solid black, extra liner seems to be really big. See photo. Will the molding processes loosen the tight one; or, will it tighten the loose one?  It seems to me that one of these is incorrect.  Can anyone shed a little light on the situation? Thanks, in advance, for any feedback. 4. Heel side = strong side or good side turn Toe side = weakside or bad side turn  Right foot forward skiers weak side turns = 1-3-5 opposite for LFFÂÂ
  5. I cross train in the off season....I will mix in wine sometimes, then beer, then wine........maybe a mixer or two; but, not while I am tossing around the kettle bells, that is just plain dangerous
  6. Maybe it parallels the &muscle confusion&theory of weight lifting; where by you do not train in a traditional routine so the muscles stay stimulated. You do various reps and sets with different movements to stimulate growth. I can see the same idea with skiing. I am not saying to changes skis every set; but, much like working out, when you plateau, after spending considerable time in the same routine, you need to change to get the muscles to react. Or maybe like cross training; but with multiple skis. It is an interesting concept.
  7. Ski might I try this Reflex, see bouy count if go up
  8. When i oooze sticky stuff out my bottom I go see the Doctor.
  9. These are not meant to be antagonistic, just interested in the process because there seems to be a lot of movement lately. Is sponsorship the biggest driver for the pros, in terms of the skis they ride? Do you ride a ski from a sponsor, that might be courting you, before you switch rides?
  10. Maybe it is just a demo......ha ha ha
  11. I am a 32' off skier, my set up is close to that; but, the one thing I have found with the ski is that water temp can change its characteristics a little bit.  When the water is somewhere between 80 to 85 degrees, I need to make a binding and wing adjustment. Below 80 degrees Length = 6.907 (tips)               Depth = 2.517 DFT = .798 (head) Wing = 8 or 9 degrees F.B. = 30.75 Above 85 degrees Wing = 8 degrees F.B. = 30.375 all the other numbers don't move. The inbetween (81, 82, 83, 84 degrees) is sort of trial and error. By all means I am not saying I can tell the difference in a 1 degree water temp change. I try and stick with the setup until I can really feel the ski doesn't want to decel and finish the turn on my off side. The ski really does rip as far as I am concerned. I am looking forward to trying the RCX. It sounds like they have made some noticable inprovements.  My 2 cents.
  12. AK,  Simultaneous release is not an issue for me, I use a rear toe plate. thanks for the insight.
  13. What about the FM E-series? Any comments?
  14. Maybe it is a filed down Warp so he doesn't poke his eye out......
  15. Clay Neill unofficial 3.25 @ 41, got outside of 4 ball and bit it, came up injured
  16. Todd Johnson posts a 3 @ 41 in the quarter finals

  18. It sounds like you have the right grip naturally without switching. I am not sure if I am understanding your grip position; but, just to be clear for LFF your left hand should be palm down (overhand) on the handle if you hold the handle horizontal to the ground. I am RFF so my natural grip (I am right handed so if I were holding a baseball bat) is opposite my ski grip. I switched years ago; but, I still have to get up with the baseball grip and switch before the 55's. The theory, and I pretty much believe it, is that the overhand grip, correlating to whichever is your front leg, gives you a stronger pull from your off side turn. It only took about 3-4 times out to really get used to it and not have to think about it. You should give it a try and see if you notice the difference; you can always go back if it really messes with you too long.  ÂÂ
  19. Whoops!!! That wasn't supposed to happen....
  20. Just saw Clay Neill run 2 @ 41 to tie Ben Favret fo rthe lead score....Good Job CLAY!!
  21. I still vote for the overhead cable system....no boats.....that would cure it.  Electric motors are way easier to tune and tweak a they are much more precise.ÂÂ
  22. Not sure if this is an issue; but, I see skiers tend to drop the handle down when over emphasizing the counter rotation. When you release with your off hand, think about keeping the handle up and out in front, in your line of sight.  Sometimes skiers will tend to reach in towards the centerline of the course instead of reaching towards the pylon.ÂÂ
  23. I am looking to start out next season with a hardshell. I ski with a rear toe plate. I know there are several hardshell bindings out there, FM (various series), Reflex, Fogman, Goode, Radar, Connelly Draft (not sure if the Cnnelly is considered a hard shell) . 1. Are there anymore to consider? 2. Does anyone have experience with a single or know someone with a single to comment? 3. Who makes the best single front binding?ÂÂÂ
  24. You Jr. fans are soooooo sensative...why is that?
  25. Did anyone ever tell you guys that Jr. is over rated and living off of his daddy's reputation. I live in Mooresville, NC home of the most of the good ole' boys and they all know it here.
