  1. @wish on the West Coast when you are going to tournaments the big three are Nautique, Malibu and Centurion. I am aware of that Centurions are a bit rare in Florida but I don't think it's appropriate to include them with off brand and defunct boat companies. @horton MasterCraft is still one of the big 3 on the west coast. Malibu seems to have been replaced by CarbonPro
  2. Just bought 4. Hurry up and ship!
  3. I had one of those, worked great until the heat melted the glue holding in the mirrors. When I glued them back in, they were never aligned again. PTM is a great system I have in my Prostar.
  4. Anyone have any experience with this procedure? Bulging disc between C6 & C7 is causing numbness in my left arm and left hand. This is the basic info I found on the net; Cervical epidural injection A cervical epidural injection places anti-inflammatory medicine into the epidural space to decrease inflammation of the nerve roots, hopefully reducing the pain in the neck, shoulders and arms. The epidural injection may help the injury to heal by reducing inflammation. It may provide permanent relief or provide a period of pain relief for several months while the injury/cause of pain is healing.
  5. Dealers offer demo. If you live in So. Cal, call Pacific Slalom
  6. Shameless plug! http://goo.gl/fErX7Q
  7. Once they are burped and feel soft, the bubble buoys water line is suppose to be 1" above the mold line around the outside circumference. This way they are legal size and height and you can easily ski right over them without issue. I see a lot of folks adjusting the height to the mold line and that is too high or they have too much air inside and fee hard. Dave Goode put out a Youtube video which explains the how's and why's.
  8. I think PCM's are built by ZF. PCM had the exclusive on ZF's quiet shift design. Now the boat builders are moving to electric shift by ZF to lose the clunk. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. @Glock Maybe you should consider how long you will want to keep either boat? The 1997 PP boat is nearly 20 years old Vs 7 year old ZO boat. PP w/Zbox works differently for nearly boat I've every boat I've skied, some are great and some are crap. ZO is the current and seems to be the foreseeable future system. Another thing to consider is resale value of the older PP boat once you do improve your skiing and want to make a move towards something even newer. Just my opinion
  10. @Texas6 Are they the same design and size? If they are a match, I'm in!
  11. I like the spring loaded feature and the red. Mine is one of the earlier models in black with no spring. Works great and their customer service is awesome! BTW - Thanks Horton for the great idea and OTF for bringing it to market! That's team work at it's finest!
  12. Those old speedo's are adjustable so you can calibrate them using a hand held gps. I had an '87 and the wake was pretty great. I ran the plate ⅛" down from dead flat.
  13. If you zoom in on the picture, you can see the second hole in the tiller arm. You do not new to move the cable mount that's up under the floor. The rudder torque is set by the casting and you shouldn't need grind it more especially if you're going to pull shortline skiers. Grinding on the opposite side will reduce the torque and the boat will wallow down the lake. The proper torque greatly helps true tracking in the slalom course.
  14. Did anyone post if you can retro a 750 standard set up or do you need a new plate with the double toe loops?
  15. Saturday morning at Cheyenne Lake! Doesn't get much better than this!
  16. @Ed_Johnson I bought the buckles from Miami Ski Nautique, they are from Reflex. Didn't change the release one bit. My back liner slides right out in a fall. I have them on my front and back shells, makes it real easy to get the same fit every time. Beats counting clicks on the stock fasteners. My Powershell's rear boot always rotated this much regardless of how tight the screws were. I figure my stance was causing it and have stayed with it on the R-style. When I skies with RS-1's I rotated it to the max, tie and heel. Feels weird if I straighten it out any more. Not sure if it helps or hurts my skiing but it is comfortable this way.
  17. Does anyone have this new flooring in their ProStar's? Can you post a pic if you have one?
  18. Who says the new ProStar Trick wake is bad! Sure look good to me!
  19. I run mine rotated in my Reflex carbon rear plate. Heel & toe rotated one hole off center, work great!
  20. Quicksilver amphibians for my money. Great I'm or out of the water. Quick dry and look like walking shorts, even have belt loops! I buy them at the outlet mall to save $$ http://www.quiksilver.com/mens-boardshorts-amphibians/
  21. ATF ONLY. Using the heavier motor oil will help quiet it a bit but will reduce the performance. Make sure you run it to the half way mark on the stick, never more. Same trick for the motor, 5-30 full synthetic and half way on the dip stick, never more. Tip is from the Amazing Will Bush!
