I think you do what ever is fun. Personally slalom is my go to water sport but I also really enjoy wake surfing. Its relaxing and fun particularly on a public lake after 10:00 am when it's to rough for anything else. I also like both kayaking and SUP. We have SUP races here and there is more to it than you realize.

If it's an unwritten rule and you don't take the time to formalize it you shouldn't get upset if it's broken. Also if it's a not a competition but a "show" why would you be upset. Obviously is a competition that's grown and the rules must evolve.

The original Prophecy was a more forgiving version of th F1 for me and less work. I hope the 2014 continues the trend. I owned the strada as well. Never felt that great on it, especially in the inconsistent conditions I ski on.

Going to buy a Prophecy. I have seen great reviews of the 2013 but nothing on the 2014. Are they the same. If they are, I'll buy the 2014 just because it matches my boat. Currently on the first generation Prophecy. Any comments between it and the current model would be appreciated. I like the original but seem to be working harder on it than other skis I've tried. I always go back to the Prophecy ecouse my off side is most consistent on it. Thanks much

I subscribe to waterski magazine and enjoy getting it each month. I do believe they would do themselves a favor by cleaning up their website of old material.

Simskrs - It dies like the key is turned off. It turns over but will not start. It finally got to the point it wouldn't start at all. Didn't have the time to mess with it and took it in to the dealer. Hopefully they find the problem. I really like this 1999 nautique. Bought it new, but I am starting to have more little things go wrong each year. Thanks for all the advice. I will let you know that the problem is.

I will look at both of those. I was thinking it was electrical, because boat, just shuts off. It has never sputtered or gone into limp mode. When I can get it to start it runs great without hesitation. Thanks

Boat shuts down in the middle of a pass. Perfect pass is working fine. Seems electrical. Boat turns over fine afterwards. Sometimes starts and other times won't. Wondering what I could check easily. Only thing I have tried is bypassing the kill switch, but that wasn't the problem. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Nate sure keeps his knees bent though the turn. My ski settles in a lot better with a slight knee bent.

Ktm300 and jlittle. Same exact problem for me. Amazing onside turn but struggle getting a tight off side. Really have to soften and bent my knees alot to get the tip to settle in and carve. I weigh 190 riding a 67. Using Rossi's numbers. Tried the 66 and it turned awesome on the offside but just to small to be stable enough.
