  1. I had the Thule for 2 summers when I was traveling for tournaments alot. It worked well because my car didn't stink like wet dogs and I was able to lock up my gear at night in hotel parking lots. Thule stuff is top notch. Yakima is also good quality. Find something that fits your size requirements.
  2. What is your PP NN setting?
  3. @scotchipman thats the one. Snatch it up Scott
  4. For those who don't know Jeff - he's been in the Malibu program for many many years. I've driven and ski'd behind just about every one of his promo boats since 2005. He always makes sure they drive/ski at the elite level. Anyone even considering a TXI call and put a depo on this baby today. You won't be disappointed!
  5. Someone needs to buy @Moskier3ev TXI. That thing is a gem and a steal of a price. The Lindsey's take phenomenal care of their boats.
  6. You're going to really enjoy this ski!
  7. @ozski can you tell us more detail on what we are looking at rudder wise? Drivers side has been ground?
  8. The Double Tree at SeaWorld is where I stay for business. Its close to Andys (within 15 mins), has a good breakfast place across the street. Two great bars on site (one at the pool) and a nice gym plus starbucks on site. Its in the $150 per night range, but well worth it.
  9. well unless you repower your boat with an upgraded engine using throttle by wire and new ECM I don't think ZO is an option for your 03 LXI. @Jody_Seal can probably comment further. SG with the ZBox should be your best option - however I'll caution you to get the SG setup properly timed in and performing well before plugging in the zbox.
  10. Was pretty blown out this morning in Orlando! ha Water temps are low 80s.
  11. For the record my LXI tracks great, without the adjustable rudder. Near as I can tell it has not had a grind. However I am going to try adding 60lbs to the bow this season.
  12. head to head slalom sounds fun. Especially if I get to ski more than one set. Traditional tournaments are boring.
  13. Thanks @oldjeep. I'm wondering if the flow rate is high enough to keep from starving the engine of water?
  14. @oldjeep yes that would help. Their product is wayyyy overpriced for what it is. You're talking some water filter housing molded polypropylene and a $10 micron filter.
  15. Has anyone ever considered a cartridge filter system for the raw water intake line to protect engines from sucking up the Larvae? I've seen the Mussell Mast'r system but it appears they are being installed on Ballast intakes, not engine intakes. It would require a filter housing with a 1 1/4 inlet/outlet and a filter with a low enough micron rating to filter out mussel larvae, but have a high enough flow rate to not starve the engine of water at high RPMs and maintain the pressure involved. Thoughts?
  16. The 04LXI does not have adjustable rudder in US either.
  17. Since I just bought a Helix last season and I love it, I'll assume Horton doesn't realize the original Helix is a great ski and in fact better than the H2 :/ Or something like that.
  18. If you aren't measuring and weighing your food you'll get nowhere... buy a digital scale and start tracking. I use MyFitness Pal App
  19. If my LXI ever had engine problems I'd have to take a hard long look at repowering it with a new crate Indmar and adding ZO. It would be alot cheaper than buying a 1yr old promo. I just love the hull so much. If I was going to buy a promo boat - I'd buy @Moskier3ev TXI. Now thats a sweet ride.
