  1. I am one of the first 50, I can't wait till summer. I am hoping it makes it easier like ZO. I was never able to match my ZO scores when I skied behind my Stargazer system last season. It just felt like the PP Stargazer pulled harder all the way through the course. PP Stargazer didn't slow down at the buoy the same way even though times were perfect.
  2. I personally don't have much of a problem. If you are patient and and don't rush or overshoot while dropping a skier, it is a none issue. The boat is new to me last season and we only put about 100 hrs on it. Now that I know this is normal, I think the best solution is to better explain the boats characteristics to new drivers who expect the engine to respond normally when coming off the throttle.
  3. Thanks Wish, mine is similar to what you describe. I just hate going into and out of gear at 1200 rpm. I have a short setup on one end of my course that requires a quick shut down. Normal start up is not a problem. I was just thinking it could be an easy fix. I have to keep my boat competitive with a 2010 200 and a 2009 196 at a quarter the price. I like to keep every thing working perfect. My runs like a rapped ape. I love the power to weight ratio advantage I have over the late model 196's and 200's with the 343 hp engines.
  4. O.K. I am getting closer. I pulled the black plastic cover off and inside is a metal box. On the end is a tag with E290 printed on it. Is this the ECM? If this is the ECM, approx. how much for the replacement 300-M PCM part number R116009? I will order from Jody when I decide to perform the upgrade.
  5. From what I have read and witnessed, the ventral wing appears to work only on the S-1 and Nano at 34 mph! Is there anyone having success with the ventral wing on the S-1or Nano at 36 mph or any of the other high end slalom skis at 34 or 36 mph? We know for sure it did not help Chris Parrish last season if he was using it.
  6. I tried it on my STRADA and it made the ski feel different (I compared it to adding a little tip). It also felt more stable. At first, I thought I might like it. It did not improve my buoy count. One thing I noticed after a long practice session is my back muscles would start hurting. When I took it off, it made me appreciate how much better the ski worked with out it, my back stopped hurting and I actually picked up a couple of buoys.
  7. I think it is very cool that so many ballers responded and it served a really good purpose. First, it shows that 35 off and beyond is a very elite group of skiers that I want to belong to. I came close but did not run my 35 off in either of the two tournaments I entered this year. I hope to next year. I am 6'2" 190lbs. I was 185 lbs. during the ski season. I will start next season at 175 lbs. I am going to go from a 68 inch STRADA to either a 66 or 67. I really appreciate you guys giving up this personal information. It was very enlightening.
  8. For me it is all about lighter. I am 6'2 190lbs. I use to be 200-210 and I was not improving. Dropped 15 lbs. to 185 and I started to see improvement. I walked around at the Pro Tour in Katy this year thinking I was pretty thin at 185 lbs. When I looked at my pictures, I realized how thin the pro skiers were both Open Men and Masters Men. They are all thin and in shape. I decided right then that I will get to 175 lbs. for next season come hell or high water. I also think if you are light your reflexes are quicker and your agility improves.
