  1. It's 46' today, so hopefully this won't last long. Super Basil the Wonderdog is testing the ice.
  2. Try putting a footbed inside the larger liner to make it fit better. I put superfeet insoles in mine, that makes the size 11 fit more like a 10.5
  3. I don't think I'd drive a rock-loaded backhoe onto a frozen lake - better left to the Discovery Channel and the "Ice Road Truckers"
  4. Chef23 - You could also look for sanctioned tournaments classed as an NC, which will have a Novice group, or events off of the AWSA Grassroots Schedule. At our events the novice skiers only pay a $20. entry fee and are guaranteed 4 passes per round. We also install the "mini course" bouys for that group.
  5. I would add . . . and remember to have fun . . .
  6. I think John was referring to having the latest ZO version to practice behind, so when tournament day comes you're comfortable (and familiar) with the pull that you will receive.
  7. 6" of snow in Seattle, and our ski sites are frozen - RATS !
  8. Will the slot fit the variations in fin thickness ?
  9. 5 more seasons and you'll be Men4 !
  10. I've heard the big 3 boat companies aren't doing well financially, problems with financing.   I'm in favor of a Government Bail-out.
  11. I especially like the ability to put things in my shopping cart ! And after reading the AC interview, I can't wait to try a new Elite.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4WW9igLW2U As always, it was a beautiful day at the Lake. skier : Andy Gustavson - M2 skier, -15, 34mph - His RS-1 is working good, and is just about to run 36mph and get him into the shortline club.
  13. lkb - whisper to "TeamWally" - he's the man in the know as the voice of the INT
  14. email sales@wileyski.com, Darren will know
  15. Where's option #6, "Refuse to Quit - Still skiing all Winter" ?
  16. there is no try, do or do not
  17. I'd like to hear everyone's theories on how to best get the perfect gate/start in the course
  18. It is not too cold to be skiing in Seattle - email me and we'll show you how it's done ! richard@burienautorepair.comÂÂ
  19. Hey Lance - The check really was in the mail ! Does this make me a professional skier now ? I'm donating your money to Northwest Harvest, they'll do a way better job putting it to good use helping the hungry. thanks tons.
  20. They're binding systems looked awfully expensive, makes me love my RS-1's even more !
  21. RS - There's been lots of times we've broken the ice @ the Ski Park.  Although the cooler of hot water has been upgraded to a horse trough that's big enough to be a personal hot tub. We still try to ski in our Tuesday afternoon slot all season, let me know if you'd like to catch up & ski with us.
  22. I've run -38 one other time this year - Father's Day no less. Jean is the camera operator/cheerleader, Rob was driving. Lance and I have both been getting close, so about a month ago we made a $50. wager on who could run it first. The classic thing is that when I told my wife that evening, her comment was, "it doesn't count if you're not in a tournament". I guess she has been listening to me all these years.
