  1. There is Wim Decree video on schnitz's site up through 39 where he pulls out only using his hips and it's obvious. He is 5'9"(?)  Then there is this video of Parrish, see below. as well as i have other videos/clips of him jamming that left shoulder with his 6'5" frame. ok now i am semi confused:
  2. two weeks ago i was boat judge in a MC with Gazer and ZO.  95%+ chose the Gazer. The only people who didn't were the high end skiers: 1 pro, 2 guys getting into 38, took ZO. I took the Gazer as well. LOVED it on that combination. Hadn't skied the ZO on the MC yet.
  3. "I'm presuming it will be warmer there." Actually we had a cool front roll in and it's a been a bit cool lately. Water temp 84+ and Air 86 but hopefully will warm back up to 88+. we'll see or i'll break out the sweatshirt again.
  4. effing blew out my right again. I am rough on the right palm!  what gloves won't tear?? for the love of goodness. 35 sets on these TOAST. oh yeah, got the Gazer. Good stuff, i am impressed. predicting bigger scores for everyone using Gazer/ZO.
  5. I just checked the running order, sure nough, you are right behind JD.  When are you going to be in town? I have heard rumblings of some practice on Friday at the site. (i am sure i'll prolly sneak in a few passes)  There are two skiers from my home lake who ski about 1 tourney a year and will be there with nerves a bit rattled on the dock. Also, my ski partner (first year in the course) will be skiing his first ever tourney on Sunday.  It will be a cast of characters with MS, Skidawg, JD, myself as well as some others there. scoke.
  6. Thanks for the info Bruce. Thursday night, going to feel it again if the weather holds.  I figured out the photo gallery, allegedly.
  7. Back in March, Rini immediately had me trying to square my shoulders(down course) and load my right arm for the pull out. I have been working on it but was looking at some photos and I sure dont look square to the course but better.  What does squaring up on the pull out give the skier as I don't feel like my gate is killing me.
  8. holy.....i need a tissue. she wasn't there when i was there. all 17year canucks with their parents. Anyway, could you look in your shop etc for a rear boot, size 12 mens left and see what you have? dcoke76atyahoo.com
  9. Hadn't seen hide nor hair of him since going to fla. Did he fall in love down there? Fall in love with fla skiing? I need some rear boots!
  10. Large was the powershell large, i need a left foot.
  11. wear a large, mens size 12.  If don't mind seeing what you have, take some pics or let me know.
  12. Skidawg:  I skied friday afternoon, howling wind, then Bennetts tourney on Saturday.  Sunday am, took 2 sets at the Ranch with Chad. He tore me down but at the same time ran a bunch of soft 32's so it was worth it. Came home and sunday PM ran some more buoys. Good stuff. Working on knees and shoulders. Didn't get any video but should soon. Thinking about getting the Gazer though. scoke.
  13. Currently riding the overpriced Powershells (as much as i love them!).  I am putting together a PS equivalent. Currently i have two front boots and the plate itself.  Any recommendations on where or what boot to buy as my rear boot? I am not looking for a double super carbon overlaid boot but just more of a standar rear boot. I have two boots for front of varying stiffness but the rear would seem to be not as critical.  What are you guys using/building? It has to be relatively affordable. (Can't be an animal or something like that, has to be hardshell). scoke.
  14. If HO and CC kool-aid drinking is a banning offense, SCHWING IT'S A GRAND SLAM!
  15. sunday: hopefully have video as well as open to something new. got some skiing to do between now and then.  took two more sets last night.
  16.  size small?? you giving away your wifes gloves? /vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-money-mouth.gif i either need a L or XL. i'll look this evening. i wear the bullet stopping grey merlin whizard liners too.
  17. I have been blowing out my right glove for about 2 years. No hair left either. Does anyone have any right gloves they want to swap for some lefts??
  18. Good call on the EIW video. I saw some nice clips in sets I. Also, at the very end of sets II, there is a badas$ overhead shot CP running some buoys. His shoulders are square to the course the whole pass. intense stuff.
  19. Parrish's build is similar to mine and Skidawg and JD both said recommended me to be skiing more like Parrish. (shoot for the moon!) So with that, watching as many and as much video has already helped me a bit. I have several videos of Parrish running some buoys but I am trying to compile some more. Around the net there are few but I just haven't come across one site that is hosting a ton of them.  Any links to some sites that have the mpeg/wmv files or even youtubes? Email me directly if you have videos or post some links. PLEASE. dcoke76 at yahoo.com or theredstapler@gmail.com
  20. Great looking boat! /vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif It's my boat's twin, maybe mine is the 'evil' twin.
  21. Just joined up here......  Took two sets at JD's place Friday afternoon. Something definetly in that water, besides the nutria rats of course.  Took a set Saturday morning and had Skidawg finally tell me what's holding me back. Took another set at JD's saturday after lunch then back to BR.
  22. skidawg has me on a quest now. especially watching that video.
  23. Skibug, what boat was this setup in?  Like JD said, it seems to be more boat/engine setup than actual Gazer. I tend to agree as I skied the gazer again this weekend.  At 36mph, 28off, was getting smoked by 0.1 seconds on the first segment but end times were 16.08's. pull felt great and actually pb'ed for the year in the same set. very weird. scoke.
