  1. Scot Jones is the man! He has "been there done that" on most of these things.... I talked to two different Orthopedic guys and one physical therapist about a hip issue I was having. Everyone was scratching their heads and couldnt come up with something solid.  Jones semi-diagnosed me in Chilis parking lot one afternoon. Then he put me on a PT table, did some strecthes and "diagnosed" me 20 mins later. Ever since then I can stretch the problem out and consistently have resolve when it starts getting tight or having issues.
  2. Roger, all of you guys are great down there. What an epic place. That water is some kind of sweet too. Jonathan(Jfox) had a great time too. Thager and his ski were pretty funny, having a Florida ski and a Minn ski.  I could have easily skied a 3rd set (had time) but went with some rest and just hung out. We stayed there a while then ate a late lunch and headed out. Good stuff. Jfox and I took a ton of pics and I will prolly post some on the server after lunch.
  3.  This was me after this weekend.... http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2007/09/128340255737500000umayrubmybel.jpg
  4. We are fixing to place an order for binder which we'll use to put together a batch of Ski Logs. Jfox and I both kept ski logs this year. Great stuff and great results. They are 5.5" by 4.25". Almost a half size binger with a 2-ring instead of a 3 ring. Works great for putting in a backpack or briefcase. They also have a clear plastic insert sheet on the front, spine and back cover. Great for inserting pictures or motivational things etc. First page will be just an insert sheet for tracking # of sets. Then the next 100+ sheets will be ski logs tracking action with the following lines: Skier ___           Location __ Boat ___           Temp ____ Then sets notes and places for notes. It works quite well. They can come in nearly any color, just say the word. I personally like the simple white binder. We'll print the sheets and the Log will be complete when shipped directly to you. The cost will be between $15-$20 per, printed/punched and USPS'ed to you. email me directly if you have questions or would like to order one. Also, I can take pictures of mine if need be. scoke dcoke76atyahoo.com
  5. Gentleman, our founding fathers have built this country on the populace vote. How dare ye turn against the peoples.  The southern Canadian Minnesooota peoples have spoken. http://www.novatownhall.com/blog/graphics/franken_diaper.jpg
  6. ski6jones,  I think i am moving to your community. If we can get the awsa restrictions lifted, maybe we can take my boat out for a spin? http://www.duckwaterboats.com/wpimages/wp40e8e305_0f.jpg
  7.  I love $75 per barrel oil!! SNOW SKIING IN THE DESERT FOR EVERYBODY! http://www.amazingfunnypictures.com/albums/userpics/10002/normal_DubaiSkiHillE.jpg When I become independantly wealthy, I am going to float icebergs from the Artic to get drinking water for the farmers in the desert too. They are thirsty after farming and snow skiing.
  8. You guys are crazy. After Keanu survived the OPEC and Big OIl Record Profits hired assassins he fled the country. He hid out with his technology in a place where nobody thought they would find him, Siberia. As he was dying from liver failure, the potato vodka is killer, he passed the information to a scientist in Russia.  The evil monolopizing dictator was trying to oppress new technologies as he owned the stake in the oil industries. Thankfully SImon Templar saved the day. Next week I am getting my cold fusion ski boat. http://www.saint.org/blog/uploaded_images/the-saint-1997-movie-poster-757758.jpg

  10. For the last two trips, I printed out baggage claim policies and brought them with me. Several times now I have had to pull the documents out and show them the exact paragraph stating their rules.  Southwest Airlines: there are seperate paragraphs for snow ski vs water skis. both are exempt from extra fees unless they exceed weight/length issues.  Us-Airways: seperate paragraphs for both. both fall under normal bagge, $15 check baggage.
  11.  Good stuff on the twitter feed inside every thread. looks much cleaner now.  question, where is the link to the photo gallery/galleries etc? i cant find hide nor hair of it.  Or i can't upload a photo directly to a message?
  12. So there has to be some guys out there who are partnered in a ski boat currently or had experience in it. What kind of legal documents did you sign, written agreements or guidelines setup? I am looking at any ideas or documents. I used the internets and the google but didn’t find anything conclusive. Anything in particular to look for or look out for when searching or setting things up? If someone would like to email me offline with thoughts or information, please do as I am gathering everything right now. Any ideas would be appreciated Dcoke76atyahoo.com scoke.
  13. On the new discussion page the "Twitter Feed" is added and in red. Is it neccesary to have that in every single thread you click through? the Red is a bit overpowering etc.
  14. Roger and John were great hosts! What a great place down there. It couldnt have been any better, well besides having to leave. Thager, that's pretty funny. I hauled straight to FLL and caught a flight back home that afternoon.
  15. I guess if I post I'll be in the minority.
  16. JD: I love that boat and would love to pull it with my shiny black truck.  I don't think the numbers would work out on a trade with my boat. There have been lots of nibbles on my boat but no sealing the deal purchase yet.
  17. It also pulled M2 at Regionals in R kansas this year! Sweet pull and dialed in boat. This boat pulled by a black or red truck on that black trailer would be a badass ride.

  19. Highs in upper 70s to low 80's after the southern canadian front moves through.
  20. Yawn.....  What do you expect from someone whose sole existance is to tell people what to do AND tries to get paid.
  21. Friday took two sets. Air, 81 water 65. Down at Lakes at Ascension and was interesting. Ran some buoys and Jfox ran some too.  Saturday the temp dropped to 60. ouch
  22. If I was skiing 34mph, it would be different but I have 3 more seasons at 36, with that said:  Most of the information I have read, talked to riders, points to the 64†as the ski to ride. My height and weight (over 6’3 and hair under 6’4, skiing between 195 & 200lbs) combo on the chart puts me on the 66†166 which just seems like too much ski for me. The only guys riding the 66†it seems are Parsons and Degaspari. I have always ridden softer skis as turning is usually my problem not speed across the wakes. OH yes and most of the water I ski in is avg. temp at 85 and usually ski the majority of 90-100 degrees. I am not a strong edge changer (worked my ass off at the second half of the year trying to change that). The other “the man/CS†is telling me a 64†would be what I would need. I am looking into if he has a 66†for me to ride as well as a 64 for trial. Probably purchase one of them…  Maybe I should create a new topic and create a poll. Let you guys vote the size./vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif
