  1. Hortons wakeye works extremely well for him but I have 2 friends in Canyon Lake that have them but for some reason their's shake excessively! Not sure what is different, but theirs aren't worth using! Maybe they don't have them attached correctly? I don't know, you all have seen Hortons video, it speaks for itself! Personally, I didn't want to spend the money so I got the Ski Doc and use a Samsung Galaxy S5 for filming. My only complaint is the phone mount that I have. Gotta find a better one! Otherwise the Ski Doc and phone combination is great!
  2. @thager‌ always has something good to say lol
  3. @Texas6 ? I see the gears turning from here! Lol! Do it!!!
  4. The fact that they're commenting like a baby girl proves that they're comfortable with showing their softer side! And that right there is proof that they're "Real Men"
  5. I went directly to Perfect Pass. We did a group purchase, 3 Stargazer with ZBOX and 1 ZBOX, and got a screaming deal!
  6. you know what's wrong with it what's broken on it? There might be something simple wrong and an upgrade to stargazer with ZBox could be very simple and relatively inexpensive. I wouldn't spend a dime until I knew what the problem was.
  7. I just recently put Stargazer with ZBOX in a 95 Response. It was really easy plug and play. I did have a few issues with it running away from me going to 3 ball, but I think I have this problem solved! We have a long setup at Canyon Lake so I don't have a problem getting it to settle in. I've been messing with settings a bit more now, trying to evaluate which is best for me. Watching video, I can definitely hear the difference between a C3 pass compared to C1. So far in all conditions my times have been 16.94 to 16.97 no matter the conditions! Good enough for me! I'm looking forward to pulling Scott Larson behind it to hear his feedback about my pull compared to the new boats as I have very limited time behind a ZO boat and lack the the feel/skills that Larson has! All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase!
  8. Started early February in Canyon Lake, water temp is around 64 with air Temps getting into the low 90's. We're starting to see an increase in slalom around here which is nice! Just this season we've added 5 or 6 to the ski club and maybe more if the Frenchies from UCR all join. That'd be another 5 if they do! Definitely 1 if not 2 for sure though. All of the newbies are in their 20's! Is slalom cool again? Hope so!
  9. Me thinks Mr Jones is rubbing in the fact that he has 77 degree agua!
  10. Happy birthday @MS. Now go run 39 before Horton
  11. I lost 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks and 2 pounds in the last few days. 230 last year 190 today. Wahoo
  12. Just wondering, are these settings from Crawford? Or is this a setting that you have found that works reasonably well as a starting point for you on D3 skis? That .771 seems pretty far forward, but it looks really good for you!
  13. Hey Dougski, have you gotten resolution to your guage problem yet?
  14. He skiing smart and getting more out of every set than any of us do!
  15. No matter what, you haven't had a chance to even ski the boat, repairs should be on the seller imho
  16. That sux Doug! Sorry I steered you in that direction! But who'd have thought that a boat that new world have any issues? They're not standing behind it?
  17. Wow! I want to hang with you guys! I love the trash talk! Lol
  18. Has anyone tried heat molding their Intuition liners in a hot tub? I need new liners and really don't like putting them in the oven! I never seem to get the toe room that I want. This time I'm going to try that to get the initial set and let them mold over time. Anyone tried it?
  19. Not today but skied on the 2nd and 3rd. First sets of the year. Air around 80 and water was 58. Beautiful So Cal weather! It's on!
  20. If that's true, I guess I got really lucky! I got mine in no time and also got a replacement skin at no charge. The one replaced had some stitching coming loose. I hope all is well with Chee and that the Fellas from the Malibu Crew get they're issues resolved!
  21. 1jeremy, I sent you a pm w Chee's contact info
  22. @T-fromTO‌, if you look at the thread about Bell Aqua #3 back from the dead, there's a video that shows the correct way to do islands! Just my opinion. ...Islands are essential to a smaller lake. In essence, they make the lake longer, plus they really reduce back wash! If you decide to do them, do what @Bruce_Butterfield‌ said about the underlayment below your rip rap and OVER DO IT on the rip rap! You're better off doing it right the first time! I've been involved in 3 lake projects and have enjoyed every moment of them! Don't get in a rush and don't do anything half assed! You'll pay for it later! Mostly, enjoy yourself! Looking back, these will be some of the best day's of your life!
