Do you think a rope suffers in the rare occurrence of being on the shelf at a pro shop for 2-3 years. Probably never happens, but?

You need to PM @skierjp. He will probably see this post though. He lives in Polk county and knows all the details that you need to know..

Between the guides. What @ForrestGump said. Look as far down course as your eyes permit. Pre gates if possible, at least exit gates. Some courses have a large sign of sorts, on the shore directly in line with the center on the boat path. That works really goid.

Also how do I get access behind the linc display to plug in a new antenna. Is there a good procedure for pulling the dash apart.
If you convert to single puck it should be just plug and play under the dash. Of course, you'll have a software update, so not totally plug and play.
What I'm saying us that the wiring shouldn't be different just because of Linc.

Maybe the answer is obvious, but if the curve is taller (higher RPM) and longer (duration of increase) wouldn't that give you times that are too fast? What gives in order to counteract the "more responsive feel" of + settings?
The chart posted by @Hockdog which was originally published by @scoke (I think) may not be perfectly scaled, but it accurately depicts what happens. If it were perfect each arc would occupy the exact same area, just shaped differently. This is required in order to achieve the set speed. What @Mastercrafter said has to be correct. If there is more area in the arc there is more speed. If not, I'd be truly surprised.

Prices are pretty much based on how badly someone wants to sell more so than how badly someone wants to buy. I have an '08 196 with less than 700 hours, really well kept and serves me quite sufficiently. If someone came along and offered me 50k I'd turn him down. What else could I get for 50k that would suit as well?

I would say if using the word "where" it means where the skier is in relation to cross course, not down. Then it kinda means the same as "when". (If that ain't confusing enough)

First round scores seemed to be a bit low.

Cool to see inside the factory.

How many advance to H to H?

What's the format?
Edit: Found it in @darinmontgomery post. But still a question. How advance to head to head?

You shouldn’t have a red wire connected to directly to the battery that is powering the dashboard. Somebody has modified the wiring incorrectly in the boat. Any dash power wire should be connected via the ignition switch. And the ignition switch power comes through the master switch.
Apparently you didn't add the red wire. How long have you had the boat? Two years maybe since you know the age of the battery. How long has this problem been occurring?
If recently, just spring for a new battery.

I would suggest something more along the lines of a 12 ga with steel shot.
Might take a lot shells, if you've got a lot of geese!

Just got an email from USAWS informing me that they're up and running.

Obviously lack of knowledge of the rules. Agree with @lpskier.

Don't know why, it's just the way they set it up.

Look into what an engine rebuild would cost you and replace the transmission with a series 80. If the worst possible scenario presents itself, is the purchase price plus the previous mentioned within reason?

Magic Eraser is kinda like fine sandpaper.

Not an answer, but does your cover have vents? Prevention, try to keep ALL water out of the boat and if feasible leave the cover off for a while after you get through skiing. Engine heat under the cover with any moisture can promote mildew.
Oh, as @MDB1056 said, use a brish.

I understand the loss of stretch due to age. I also think it's much less critical at 15 off. There's so much more rope to stretch. Even with a relatively new rope I can easily feel the difference between 28 and 35, from Deepwater start on.
