I usually mention tournament first, but follow up with practice. Only 2 buoys difference though.

If I had my choice, with no conflicts, I would ski 2 days and take off 1. Repeat. So not really based on a "week".
-
There are probably lots of reasons they "could" be different, but I would think more reasons to think they're the same. It would require additional coding instead of relying on the same code already there.
Just my thoughts.

Yeah, @tjs1295 sounds like youre around a tough crowd. First as relates to beans in a can, it sounds more elitist to say you should buy your beans in a bag. They sound way too "natural".
But as to boat pricing, they obviously aren't interested in any kind of boating if 5K sounds offensive to them. What would be a good price for them to get into a boat? Other than a row boat, of course.
Find new friends or avoid discussing the subject. Talk to them about how much beer they consumed over the weekend.

@Stevie Boy why don't you try mixing it up on them? Don't let them know the mode. Just doesn't make sense that there is a difference.
-
Rev S is latest. I see no reason why a 2023 boat would come with over 2 year outdated software.
-
That would be new to me also, dictated??? Just avoid that tournament!

Actually I don't see that as a gadget due to a shortcoming of a ski. It seems to me to be very beneficial for fin adjustments.

Somebody may say I'm wrong, but it seems the same to me, except speed of course. (The only reason to be in rec mode)

Move the jump, huh? Kyle Eade said that they've got it down to a science. Not so much I don't guess. That's never a minor thing.
-
Asher said basically that it took him 4 passes to get a feel for the boat. Hmm!
What brand does he train with?

I've never seen anything like that. Water boils to a gas?!?
-
I wonder how small the adjustment increments are.
-
From my experience (back when i could ski 35) the line length was a significant factor in endurance. That being said that is relative to one's max pass. But I've seen skiers whose max was 15 off who could ski a bunch of passes every day, so I kinda think 35 and shorter may be where it begins to be a factor.

Great, but can it be used on other brands? Is it patented or will other mfgs start building these?
How small are the adjustment increments?
I guess @Horton will have some of these answers soon.

Any update?

Easy change. Just do it. @dave2ball knows of what he speaks. Don't like it, go back. If slalom is your main thing you'll like it.
-
@Jetsetr yeah, and your Snell is only good for X number of years.

I could never get everyone to share a boat. In the early days of our private site all the guys that I skied with had their own boat and still liked to hit public lakes occasionally. So, it remained that way.
-
I don't think it'll be a problem, other than cosmetic.

@Stevie Boy Gotcha! And thanks.

@Stevie Boy Pls post pics.

The last 2 Malibus that a local promo had were, even according to him, horrendous at 15, and 22. Not my words. I never skied it. Last tourney at their site, it just sat on the trailer.
Can't find anything to get little black spots of mildew out of vinyl upholstery.

Not an answer, but does your cover have vents? Prevention, try to keep ALL water out of the boat and if feasible leave the cover off for a while after you get through skiing. Engine heat under the cover with any moisture can promote mildew.
Oh, as @MDB1056 said, use a brish.
