  1. I have a car that while not really self driving, will steer itself (staying in its lane) when cruises control us engaged. You can override it but it requires additional steering effort. So, the technology exists as far as the safety aspect goes. Just lightly hold the wheel.
  2. Delete both mapped courses. Go into map screen and map again. Hit the button when the puck is even with the entrance gate. Proceed down the course. When you get close to the exit gate it will start to beep with increasing frequency. When puck is even with the exit gate press the button again. Done!
  3. I really can't see any downside. Are scores trending downward since SurePath has been instituted?
  4. If there are washers between the rack plate and the pinion assembly you can try removing one from each bolt. ("wear on the teeth") I've seen some with and some without.
  5. If I remember correctly, Jamie Bueschane (sp?) was quoted as saying the ski path required for 41 off was a margin for error about the width of a garden hose. Again that's as I recall. Pretty narrow, but I get his point.
  6. Cale is, and has been, perhaps the most "under the radar" skier around. He's just good. Take a look at his OM scores, if you're not familiar with him.
  7. Only one lot left of 34, and at 2.5 million! As a recent conversation with a friend of went.... there are a LOT of people with a LOT of money. I continue to be amazed.
  8. Which ever you choose, 3 or 4, get a CNC.
  9. And you had to have 2 EP performances for Nationals. Only 1 Masters for Regionals. I think that that type of qualification was still in effect as late as 2000, maybe later.

    Unrelated comment- 24.2 tricking?
  11. I don't get enough time behind other brands/year/model to know what changes to make.
  12. 34 36. I've heard from some pretty knowledgeable people that the optimum speed to run really shoreline is 35.
  13. Lowes, Home depot, harbor freight.
  14. Fortunately I have no experience with zebra mussels. How big are they? Could you cap the pipes and drill small holes to let water in but keep mussels out?
  15. To make it easier get a hole saw with a center starter bit, not like the one pictured above. Just easier.I
  16. We have a floating course that was surveyed and found to be in record tolerance. We have 3" schedule 40. The only problem you may experience will relate to water depth. We don't have that problem, as our depth is from 12' to 6'.
  17. You will definitely notice a much smoother feel. The CNC props are more precision. Acme 422 would be a good choice. Report back if you go that route and tell us what you think.
  18. @vtjc that looks like a 196. The plug I removed was less than half that thick. ('08 196)
  19. We've kinda strayed off topic, but since we have......someone tell us what about Jacinta's current status. Jumping?
  20. The new website came online yesterday. Looks better but at least for me it takes longer to navigate. Maybe time and familiarity will help that.
  21. Yeah, Jacinta comes to mind. That's a sad commentary on sponsorships.
  22. Yeah, that's the only engine I can think of for that year.
  23. A friend of mine recently spoke with a guy who has a 1983 MC and has 6000 hours on the engine without even having a head off. Doubt that a 6L will make it that long, but maybe.
  24. I can't address Malibu specifically, but it shouldn't be a real problem if you can remove the the dash panel. As for drilling gel coat, just get you a1" hole saw and start slowly. Be sure of your location.
