  1. 6 sets of the last 3 days in Miami. Water has not been below 70F. Locals think it is cold
  2. Oxygen sensors? You get a check engine light/code?
  3. that's a great deal, just in time for holiday season
  4. what is the Arizona ski season like? Can you ski all year round?
  5. 20 ounces in a pint of beer in an imperial pint. Even better imperial fluid ounce is 4% bigger than US fluid ounce. All said and done, IPAs are much better in the US. Cheers Ali
  6. I got both podiums but was well off on my winning score. I had looked at the wind forecast so thought scores would be down a little. Great concept. Alistair Smith, thank you for your submission. You predicted in the Women's Slalom competition that Regina Jaquess will win, scoring of 4.50 at 10.75m . You also predicted that Manon Costard will finish in 2nd spot, with Jaimee Bull finishing third. In the Men's competition you predict that Frederick Winter will take the win with 2.00 at 10.25m , ahead of Nate Smith in 2nd and Thomas DeGasperi in third.

    Man V Goose

that flock have been around our pond all season. Sometimes we have to wait for them to cross the course when we drop at each end. This time they hid behind an island then swam out as I rounded 2 ball. Like they were ambushing me. @jimbrake this time it was the goose's call for the skier to stop, I did try to keep going  @oldjeep driver and spotter did not see them, only when I told them and they looked at the video, I could hear them laughing while looking at the video so I knew it was good @DaveD the one I hit, I hit hard, full on with the base of the ski. It just laughed and swam away

I saw them as I was coming into the ball. thought I could turn before hitting one, but nope, actually managed to get the base of the ski full on to the biggest one. For a fraction of a second I thought I was skiing away, but nope. The damn thing just swam away. Thankfully no injuries.
  10. I was trying a Denali C75. Maybe need a little more depth so I don't blow the tail out. Cheers Ali
  11. " I’ve been able to get out of the water but not really to stay up on the ski. " You should have a wider ski until you get comfortable getting up and staying up. TRA is a little too early for you. @brooks should be able to recommend something like a P6 to start with and then quickly move to something faster as you get comfortable. Also to add speed is what you feel comfortable with and without the ski sinking. You can ski slower with a wider ski,
  12. I use factory numbers on Radar vapor 2020, works great. As @Zman says you may need to loosen 6 screws that hold fin block to ski to get it in. I also found DFT set screw does not touch the fin when I got it set to right spot.
  13. If this new ski is better than last year's, it will be something. Just ran a PB on my 2020
  14. I'm with @Bdecker ballast tank is awesome, driver changes (80lbs diff) quick pump out or in. Otherwise you have to start moving weights around. Driver runs 1 pass, feels the difference add or takes out a little for the next pass,
  15. @darosman any video of your wife skiing, will give a better idea of the level of skier, also how much she weighs will help decide on size of ski.
  16. listen to @Bdecker, he has been there done that
  17. @pcmcon729 We know you have been waiting for this for a while. Was honestly suprised you had not pulled the trigger before the latest upgrades. The more new boats the better. Heard there might be a test ride coming up soon. Sell a horse buy a boat?
  18. @rfa :-) I am sure you will. You liked the one you tried last year. I'll let you know if it doesn't work out.
  19. I just unboxed for my wife's C75 which arrived just too late for last weekend's skiing. Long weekend coming up for her to hopefully get used to it. Cheers Ali
  20. My thoughts She has some great basiscs. She can advance fast with those. Let her drop at least every 2nd pass. Slalom skiing is explosive you need to rest. Getting up is easy compared to spinning and back to back passes. Also you have time to discuss what felt good and bad what to work on for the next pass. Get her to try it!! Things to work on Still narrow on the gate and drops onto the back of the ski. This changed my wife's gates watching this video. Now, I know say to her "Regina" and she imagines the glide position on the gates. Hold that lean and direction through the 2 wake. Good luck!! Cheers Ali
  21. @TEL you said "Drove my girlfriend 26.7mph" how did she like the wake at that speed and what boat wake was she comparing it to? Cheers Ali
  22. Was always on HOs, last one being A3. Did not like V type so tried Radar vapor, been on them since. Love my 2020 best esepcially with Denali CG fin. Skiing at around the same level as you. Cheers Ali
  23. @MuskokaKy I have read the other threads and links which is why I found this to be big news. It should not have happened IMO. Kids should not be put at risk. I have noticed references to NS appearing more on my social media feeds which makes me feel uncomfortable. I am concerned that companies which myself and my wife use (ML, D3 and Eagle) still seem to be sponsors.
  24. Can we leave a crop of the orginal pic without the image of the skiers who wanted to be removed? @amyrooker ?
