  1. @VONMAN Hydrogate came with the 196 TSC 3 hull.
  2. Probably not a crankshaft sensor as it has ignition sparks. Either a wiring problem to the injectors or a faulty ECM.
  3. @Stefan Zbox also works when freeskiing, mapping of a slalom course is mainly for timing purpose.
  4. That's what we get outsourcing all production to China. This makes me wonder though about the 30" factory front boot on a 67" Omega?
  5. @Windsurfnut Your entrance speed looks way fast - 0.04 sec to first buoy? Heavy tailwind? Need to pay attention to that because that's what kept the time to buoy #2 acceptable. Raise Ball 1 setting to at least 30 and fix your entrance speed. Time deviation to Ball 0 should be within +/- 0.01 seconds when tweaking. And yes, Zbox setting really has an impact on timing also. There is no reason you can't continue to have it on 20 if it feels good. That setting is there so you can make the boat feel more like a true ZO boat and will vary alot between different boats.
  6. @Windsurfnut Judging from the times my next move would be to reverse the #s between ball 1 and ball 3 and tweak from there. Guessing you could bump up b4 to xit to 40 in conjunction with above.
  7. 200 lbs less doesn't sound plausible. It's just the engine block that's supposed to be that much lighter? Internals and cylinder heads should weigh about the same.
  8. All these improvements combined with a lowered MSRP? If this is not a hit the sport doesn't deserve it.
  9. @UWSkier Probably pricing, 6.0 MPI old tech, 5.3 and 6.2 GDI new tech or should I say current tech and more pricey. I think it's awesome they offer the 6.0 as a entry level engine, plenty of power way better than a 5.7.
  10. Try entering true crew weight when calibrating baselines. Then you have some leeway to play with
  11. @Windsurfnut Play with crew adjust first, assuming you have the baselines dialed. If you lower the crew adjust you will get Ball 0 closer to actual. Then you can start fine tuning the backgroumd settings. Most of your deviation on the first half of the buoys comes from entering the course too fast, only way to correct that is lower crew adjust.
  12. Actually our ski club upgraded to a 08 SN with ZO so I no longer use PP.
  13. Maybe I can help bring some clarity regarding the confusing "Ball" timing. It all stems from the all buoy timing chart, look at @GaryJanzig screenshot above. The first buoy is refered to as Ball 0 ( with the 1.77 seconds) hence the "Ball 1" time actually refers to buoy # 2. Fine tune the 1.77 time with crew adjust, higher number will get you a faster entry and vice versa. Tune the 4.47 time with "Ball 1" setting.
  14. Purpose of exhaust flaps is to prevent water to get pumped passed the risers by waves when the boat is moored without a boatlift and the stern facing the waves. They serve no purpose while the engine is running even when going in reverse. Could also prevent excessive water flowing in to the hull in case of a catastrophic failure of a muffler/hose.
  15. Compared to your 196 the 200 with a 343 will feel like driving an underpowered pontoon. Slalom is ok though if your setup is long enough.
  16. @Gloersen From what I have seen the spacers at the toe bar is just a final adjustment to a non precision manufacturing process. My boot (8 shell) had them but not my sons (12 shell). Neither of our setups has had any malfunction.
  17. Just as important for the driver as the skier is practice gate setup. Looks like you catch her by suprise with your gate pullout at the greens. She needs to anticipate that countersteer more, very difficult to get in sync with the skier otherwise.
  18. @lpskier @Gloersen Pretty sure the above is Norwegian. Sounds kind of familiar but I don't understand one bit.
  19. @lpskier Good luck, maybe you can ski as well as mentioned ski partner when you're healed up? ;)
  20. @lpskier Injured or wear? I finally got around to replacing my knee, really had no business skiing last time we met as bad as it was. Hopefully i can get back on the water eventually.
  21. @jimbrake Agree Mikaela stands a good chance of surpassing Stenmark. Keep in mind the FIS changed the rules to keep Stenmark from winning the total WC. He would have won 7 consecutive total WC instead of 3 without the rule change, the change in rules were withdrawn after he retired. Takes a lot to break his record though, he never missed a tournament in his entire career, podiumed 2/3 of his starts and won 1/3 (approximately). Lindsey came close but no cigar.
