The "Frustrating times" title of this thread sums up slalom skiing.

As stated above, just because everyone else loves a ski does not mean you will. Radars are excellent skis and have outstanding customer service. I can ride them but I still favor my ski.

If you like your current ski and especially if you loved it at one time, you should never buy a ski if you can't afford to keep your old one as a backup.

Is the hull the same? I am wondering what the suface area is on it, especially compared to the other boats.

Why a 6.0? It was the best engine in the 200.

@wawaskr it's simple really. Nobody wants to get sued for slander or libel. This is an organization of volunteers. Even if you are right, you can spend a lot of money defending yourself. You could also get sued for identifying a victim who wishes to remain anonymous.

Penn State is a good example. People knew about it but they wouldve been taking on a powerful organization and influential people if they said anything.

You can't expect Lauren to identify individuals or say what she saw or heard on a public forum.

Good idea. I want a rule where I can go inside any one buoy but continue. I will act like I went around all of them. We will name this new rule after a skier that already does this and sometimes gets away with it.

What should this rule be called?

We were camping at a Bel Acqua Lake 2 tournaent a few years ago with our three pug dogs. One of the dogs was a weird looking rescue named Duke.

I was getting ready to ski and there are a bunch of people around. Kevin Lee walks up and starts talking his usual amount of crap. "Who let dirt on this lake? I thought we voted to ban him. Maybe we should call the sheriff" etc.

I pointed to Duke and said I'm going to call that dog Kevin Lee from now on. Someone asked why and I said because he is nice but kind of annoying. Everyone has called that dog Kevin Lee since that day.

I was at Liquid Zone and people were talking about the new Nautique and whether it skied well or not. There was a debate going on and I said, "I skied behind Kevin Lee's Nautique the other night and it felt fine" Terry Winter kept a straight face with is usual matter of fact tone asked "your pug has a boat?" I said "not the pug." Everyone started laughing. The name has stuck and many people call Kevin Lee NotThePug.

I have a question for everyone. How often has a new ski improved your skiing in the long run?

The reason I ask is I have been on the same ski for many years and the ski works great. I think I might move backward on a new ski.
