I agree. The website is terrible. Since AWSA lost it’s identity to USAWS it has gone down hill in my opinion. There are really great people involved and running parts of it. This website is a further loss of identity, mission and purpose.

Maybe its time to start over as an individual entity.

Just a thought. USAWS tell IWWF

that each foreign skier who wants to train or ski in the usa must pay $10/tournament/insured practice to USAWS until this is lifted or they are not insured and cannot ski. Just a thought, probably a bad idea.

I was going to offer 49 cents shipped. I am waiting for Hortons airfoil shaped balsa wood topped jumpers to go on sale.

+1 on the best customer service. I have been skiing since 1986 and prior to this, had the best setup help from Andy Mapple. He was difficult to get ahold of because he was so busy.

Denali surpassed the Mapple customer service. The whole experience has been outstanding. I have learned more about setup in last 2 months than the previous 30 years. The skis are amazing and the technical support I got from Adam Cord is unrivaled. If you don’t know, the Adams are two of the smartest people I’ve ever met. I highly recommend the Denali experience.

That is an incredible list of skiers. I did not enter because I have been working on some major changes to my skiing.

This is my new body position in the preturn. It now matches my pulling position behind the boat.

I was in the boat when Horton’s injury occurred. He hung onto 30 feet of slack at 2 ball at 39 1/2.

I said, “why did you hang onto that? I let go anytime there is slack and I never worry about making the gates in practice.”

He replied, “I hang onto everything.”

I still feel a little bit sorry for him.

He helped me the other day showing a me next to him side by side body position freeze frame.

He told me what to do and videoed again, showing me the marked improvement.

Very helpful. I highly recommend.

Excellent ski, super easy to ride and forgiving.

@klindy you are an excellent judge and it is not possible to make the correct call every time. The camera angles, glare, spray, distractions and fatigue are a few of the many reasons it is impossible.

The process worked and I don’t think anybody is complaining about the officials. If they are I encourage them to give it a try in a big, high pressure tournament, for no pay.
