Calling for -43c tonight here!! Why the hell so I live here???
-
Any more update on the 2017 camaro. Thinking with my low back issues it might be a game changer???

A little off topic but, when skiers run side by side how much does that affect their scores, can they see each other, does it distract them? Not saying that's a bad thing but am curious about it
-
@Roger, to answer you he said he absolutely refuses to move the wheel until he feels the skier. He went on to say something about that if you move before then if your out if time with the skier you screw him/her. He did drive at least 1 pro tour stop and also the over 35 worlds this year. I can't comment on if he is wrong or right since I am not a tournament driver, just repeating what he said. The skiers all seemed to be happy with his driving

I don't think there's a standard height for them. I have one on my rlx and have no problems getting into the bow. I have seen some Pi s of boats where it definitely would be tho

Awesome interview @MarcusBrown, always great to hear from the top skiers, but the up and comers are the future of the sport!!

I always find this a frustrating topic! My pb is 2@38, 34mph. We have a high level skier here (jr worlds and some pro tours) who would choose not to ski at all if the right driver is not here. It really bugs, you can go on you tube and watch numerous videos posted of clinics that Andy Mapple has run and just got one of the people there to drive for him, I have seen him into 39 and not sure but I think 41 with these amateur drivers. I know the driver makes a difference, I have my preferences too and ski better behind certain people. I think this is mainly just being relaxed and trust them. My wife is one of the drivers and by no means is giving me a perfect ride. I just know what she is going to do. The people I won't let drive are either I think they might do something that might hurt me physically or just ruin the set by putting rollers in the course.
I had the opportunity to ride in the boat this year with a pro driver who gave me some great tips. He said he will not move the wheel until the he feels the skier.

Line is tight, still on his ski broke the plane....2

@Justin_C, I love my boat, handles great, I don't wakeboard, but my kids do. Buddies rlx has a tower and they are very happy with it overall. The wedge is a great asset. I think it would be a great camp boat. That's the same display I have and its stargazer.

As they said, the up down adjusts the speedos, the left right selects the right or left pick ups and when it's centered it averages the 2 readings this does not have any input whatsoever with perfect pass. FYI I have an 01 response Lx, exact same set up

@MarcusBrown, it's always great to hear from the top skiers, but it it could be fun to hear from some of the up and comers like Bailey Austin or others along that road, how they got here, what they work in practice etc
-
@horton, bayliners inboard the ski challenger had a flip up back rest that you could see the fuel tank. I used to do it all the time cause my gauge never worked
-
R style

Awesome win by a super nice guy. Feel bad for jmac, only guy to run 39 in every round and finishes 5th
-
@horton, I talked to him about the 2017 model at Canadian nationals, and he said he didn't have very much time on it and was still on the 16 vapor
-
Awesome job jmac, well deserved
-
@disland, as a Canadian, #4 just about made me fall out of my chair...lmao
-
Should have mounted a camera on that goose

Whoever is responsible for the webcast, I say thank you for a great job, I was finally home and able to watch the whole thing!
-
A friend of mine skiis at a high level, Jr. worlds and now starting into pro, her mom told me it would cost her about $30,000 for a season if she had to pay for all of it herself
-
I was told by a pro skier to get a 62
-
Just watched her ski today at Canadian nationals
-
The Lx hands down has the better wake at slower speed and longer line over the lxi

That is shadow lakes in Indio, I have a buddy that has a place there. Frank Harrison is also on that lake, got to meet him last year. I haven't been there yet but hope to this winter.
