  2. What is the best way to keep my ski from gettign dock rash/teak marks?

  5. I will be in Seattle for the first time to visit my brother in-law on June 6-12. I was wondering if any of the ski manufactures, ie Connolly, Obrien, Ho or Radar allow visits to the factory?
  6. JWR - Goodman has his center holes(wileys) at 30.25 on 90 and larger. You can then go up or back based on preference.
  7. Norm try this one http://www.usawaterski.org/pages/Instructional%20Articles/Jumping/TakingTheHandleWithYou.pdf
  8. I almost bought a Cwx from ski-it-again just recently and realized that when they had no hardwear they would be a PITA to figure out. But they sure where cheap sticks prior to finding fins. I do know that when boyd was making the carbonworx skis he cnc'd his own fin blocks for this ski so not sure another brand stock block will fit. I would just find a block that fits close and redrill.

  10. T-up  Did you have to put a new fin block on it or did you use the existing obrien block
  11. Nevermind. Got a call back from Obrien Customer service and she found one with "warrenty" and it will be on its way. Obrien rocks. Thanks Adam for the quick response but no worries all is being taken care of.
  12. BENT AN ELITE FIN. CALLED OBRIEN THEY WANT60.00 FOR A WHOLE NEW BLOCK AND FIN. HOWEVER THEY HAVE NO ELITE BLOCKS AVAILABLE AND DONT SELL JUST THE BLADE(FIN). DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS.  HORTON GOT ANY EXTRA FINS FOR THE ELITE?
  13. check out the 2011 dealer catalog on obrien.com http://www.obrien.com/catalog.php  New elite skis look to be Alpha, Quattro and Endo
  14. Adam is fantastic. However he is a busy busy man with nationals, the 2011 elites, the obrien team, etc. The customer service email is best that shane posted.
  15. Yep girlfriend-scoke skied in the ohio state champs this past weekend.
  16. HO 410 Try the brown Straightline Rockets. CLosest thing to the finger bumps.
  17. Update.  Well I sent some video out and got feedback that my bindings were not forward enough. So fixed that and I stopped hopping the wake.  With that and squeezing my triceps to my vest after the second wake. I have succesfully run multiple 36(15). And now I am wide and early for 36. Now just need to nail down 22. Keeping  your arms tight to your vest as long as possible is really getting the most effective pull for me.  Did not realize how important having your ski setup properly has an affect. Was using stock numbers but that is not my style.
  18. RD. I am comfortable with 34(15). So I guess I will start looking closer at my Gate. Scoke, I talked to you a little last year about the elite working for me. But after the one 22 off pass I ran last year it has been all down hill since then. Thanks
  19. RD, Did they ever work on 36(15) Or did they just skip it?
  20. Looking for help with 36mph. I can ski 34mph nice and easy. 15(34) or 22(34) feel the same, I can ski thsi off the dock. When I move up to 36 Ifell like I am losing a battle. Get 5 at 15(36) everytime this year. And can get 4 at 22(36). Should I skip 15(36) and just focus on 22(36)? How should I go about doing this. I have run 36 a handleful of times in the past 2 years. But it always feels out of control.ÂÂ
  21.  Its funny in all our discussions "no alcohol" was never an option brought up. I just wonder how the skiers will feel about this.
  22. I come from the midwest specifically Ohio. The midwest would not have as large of a competing field if we used hotels instead of camping. I am not a lake owner, I am just trying to get rules in place for MCWSA so we do not lose sites due to a group of students behavior or lack of judgement. We are just trying to prevent a lawsuit or some sort of tragedy. Any information would be helpful. Thanks so far.
  23. Questions for Site Owners/Club Leaders who host tournaments, Do you allow camping onsite for a collge tournament(why or why not)? Do you have college tournaments(why or why not)? Does anyone have extra liability insurance for underage drinking, can it be obtained, and what are your thoughts on this topic in regards to college skiing? (ie. NCWSA needs to do a better job of policing it, there needs to be some rules in place for underage drinking, who cares it adds to the atmosphere.) Thanks
  24. Thanks Eric I appreciate your comments. My doctor has me in a hinged brace currently. I will work through my PT very carefully. Thanks Again. Andrew
