  1. I've tried almost every setting and I believe the A settings are closest to PP but YMMV. I use A2 currently. I do ski PP once in awhile and unfortunately, it's so frickn easy compared to ZO and always ski better. And also unfortunately when I go back to ZO, I digress. Just seem to have better rythym with PP. All else is same. Same driver, same lake, frustrating!
  2. I'm not in top ski shape and coming back from an injury so it was only 22 and 28. Currently on the V-type. Also demo'd the V-type R. Okay ride with similar attributes of the ARC just did yield the same results.
  3. Had the opportunity to demo the new ARC this week and have to say that I really enjoy this ski. I would describe it as balanced, stable, forgiving. Easy to create lots of space, so much that I wasn't ready for it and it kinda caught me off guard. The ski will turn hard, but I don't think it's necessary as if I can be more patient coming out of the turns, it will reward better results. Hope to give it a couple more runs before returning it to the pro shop but overall impressed with the ski so far and feel it definitely has high potential.
  4. Like @OKSkier, I was extremely disappointed when the VTR came out shortly after I purchased the V-type. Felt like the message from HO was that the V-type was a screw up, our bad, now shell out another $1,400 for the new and approved. However, I'm sticking with the V-type and trying to make it work. Also have played around with the tip weight and have determined for me, the ski works best without it. Seems to lighten the ski up and feels quicker out of the turns. It's definitely a good ski but next time will take a hard look at Rad
  5. sorry, had the wrong thread. thought might get some help on the differences between the 2 engines offered in the SN200.
  6. hey Jody - you seem to have alot of experience with the 6L SN. What are all the benefits of going with the larger engine on the SN200? I'm interested in knowing for slalom purposes thks!
  7. luv my A3. Wouldn't ski anything else right now although the new vapor looks like it would simliar and would be tempted down the road
  8. @MS I totally agree! Give skiers a choice of boats for slalom and guess what, the MC would never get used. If tournament drivers have a choice, it would be the 200 all the way. That boat drives like it's on rails. The MC floats all over the place
  9. Hey Wish, could you help: I've only skied the CO X SL and wondering what differences you notice between it and the S2. Kinda looking a purchasing one or the other - thks!
  10. IMHO, go with the CO X SL since it has the adjustable fin box. the regular CO x does not. I have skied the CO X SL and was very easy to adjust to first time out. Haven't tried the S2, but it's similar design as the CO X so I don't think you can wrong with it either. Good luck!
  11. Hey Horton, What do you wear when you're skiing? That is for your eyes. Looking for a brand name as I've given up trying to see without some type of protection. thanks!
