  1. In march this year i hurt my ankle(i'm left foot forward, it's ,my front one) in a comp while performing a toe side flip, i carried on skiing it that weekend for the tournament. Ever since than i sometimes hurt my ankle while performing my toe side flip when i fall . It seems it happens when my i'm leaning far back on the landing or when i have an OTF on the landing.

I had x-rays and they couldn't pick it up anything. I went to a sports physiotherapist who said that i had probably bruised ligaments. I stayed off the flips for 2 months but i still managed to hurt it when i started flipping again. I use a reflex boot which i have noticed fits quite low down on the leg. With basically all pressure being transfered to my ankle and none on my leg.Would a different boot help? I have tried adjusting the pressure from the release but it seems to make no difference if it releases early.

It's really annoying as enjoy performing flips.

Would appreciate any advice any one can give me.

    Thanks

    Jared

  2. Hi Guys

We are going to be hosting the South African water ski nationals @ our dam next year and are overhauling some of our equipment. One of the things we will be doing is buying a whole lots of new bouys for our slalom course. Which are the best to buy and best colours to use? I was thinking of using the Overton's Boat Guide Buoys, 6" x 14" with hold-downs for the boat path, and for skiers bouys either the Overton's Gladiator® Inflatable Slalom Buoys, 9" dia. or the Polyform Slalom buoys from www.skiertoskier.com

For the Boat Video camera does it need to be high up for tricks and slalom or if is acceptable to use the Trakker P4 from www.wakevideo.com

For All the slalom cameras, should i use a 4 channel dvr with one big screen that's connected to my four slalom camera's?

    Thanks

  3. Our lake used to get weed alot. So much so that it was right up near the surface of the water. 1st i would recommend getting some grass carp. And a poison called mid stream, it doesnt kill the fish and works within a week to two. We also have been experimenting with a under-water hedge trimmer. This works the best for lilies and water hycan. Its the quickest way to get rid of the weed
