  1. scarlet i was having exactly the same thoughts.

Are there any other skis out there is should be looking at?

tried the A1, enjoyed it tho in the rough and my off side turn i had to bend my knees alot more than i had to compared to my x5, into the first wake it felt awesome, could get used to it tho i believe the z7 is more forgiving.

  2. trying to decide between these two. Looking @ the 65" z7 or the 65.75" 145 Amp 9900

    I run the occasional 32 off but mainly getting 4 @ 32.I am currently skiing on a 2006 x5 65".

What do you guys recommend? from what i have read the z7 will be more forgiving, tho i dont know to much about the goode.

In the rough will the z7 be easier to ski on?

Should i be looking at the wide ride or another ski?

I am unfortunately unable to try any skis. As i live in South Africa and shipping would be a killer if i were to ship each ski.

    Thanks in advance

  3. Will try uping my speed this weekend. The main problem with my flip is my rotation. I land with the ski very on edge, not coming down flat. Also tend to crunch my knees thus makin landings not to pleasent. Just watched a vid on you tube and they said i need to push most of my weight on the front foot into the wake.

Regarding max speed. I did 65km/h about a year ago. Ski actually turned real smooth haha.. Tried a side slide And it was ok. Then pulled out softly and let go, shot off for about 60m.

  4. I was just wondering what every one else is tricking at. I understand its a personal preference, and every one is different though i notice that the videos i watch on you tube the guys seem to be going much faster.

I am currently skiing behind a 206 at 28km/h. I weigh 65kgs. Should i be going faster? Will i be able to get more hight when doing flips by going faster?

  5. I have been wondering why are slalom ski fins flat? If you look at any other form of technology they have an aero dynamic shape. For example the wings on a plane, they are designed to move through the air with as little resistance as possible. So surely we should have fins with some sort of shaped fin similar to a keel on a yacht or something along those lines?
  6. cant demo any skis =(,, im currently on the 2006 65" D3 X5, have tried the A1 enjoyed the angle that it had out of the bouy, would u suggest upgrading to the z7 or A1? whats the z7 like in the rough?? Will i be able to get it a widder with it? tho that is probably technique not the ski...
