@Deanoski The entry requirements for the regionals merely states that you need to be a level six skier. Of course the buoy cat will change depending on your age division and the amount of skiers in that grouping. Of course the buoy count will change depending on your age division and the amount of skiers in that grouping. Just as an example the current minimum requirement for men's five is about two at 28 off. If you only ski one tournament there is a 10% deduction of your score. If you account for the deduction in this scenario you would have to ski approximately four and 32 off in order to still qualify for regionals. Of your score. If you account for the deduction in this scenario you would have to ski approximately four and 32 off in order to still qualify for regionals hopefully that makes some sense to you.
For anyone planning on attending the Western regional tournament here is a link to the official website with all the current information.

Wow, someone brought this one back to life after a few years.
@mbabiash if you are going to be in Scottsdale you can get a ski ride but expect to drive at least 45 minutes away. Buchli is one of the few places that you would be able to set up ski rides. http://buchliskilake.com Dave is super friendly and should be able to set you up.
Great weekend in the Northwest. Got a chance to ski both days, one at Mint Lake and one at Warman Lake. Much like BroHo the water was about 45 and the air was around 60. First rides in 3 months and I am feeling it today.
Thanks @popof, I'm sorry to hear that you were not able to make contact. Usually Matt is pretty good about returning emails. If nothing else I would suggest calling him, I believe he has his phone number on there as well.
@kfennell I was given the option and told that I could go thru years with out any problems but my surgeon also said that I should limit the the use of the bicep or it could get worse. Well for obvious reasons (like skiing) that didn't seem like a smart way to go so I just bit the bullet and did the surgery. I do not regret it now but I will say it was a tough couple of months after the surgery. Good thing was that most of the recovery was during the winter.
@kfennell I had that same surgery a year ago January. Tear in the sub scap that allowed the bicep tendon to be displaced. As they repaired the sub scap they also did the biceps tenodesis. I have to say that for me the first week was a bitch, I made it about 5 weeks with the sling then couldn't take it anymore. Pretty sore for the first 3 months but with PT things started coming around. 6 months and I was back on the water. This whole season it has felt better and stronger than ever. No pain at all now and always keep my elbows in peripheral view during any lifting or exercises (no more crab walks).
@"Steven Haines" see if you can pull up this link vimeo.com/user10905441/channels. If you are using a Apple product it may not play without having a Flash Player installed.
@jhughes I am using a DJI Phantom 2 heli with their Hd-3D gimbal that holds a GoPro camera. This thing is super stable and makes for some great shots. Its capable of going about 40 mph when it's not in GPS mode, you just have to get comfortable flying that thing low enough to get decent shots.
@Than_Bogan This lake is owned and skied by a small group of skiers that are now M5-7. It is a great lake and I believe that Bob Waggener is the contact person (503) 691-1813 Give him a call.
