  1. @Wish When Ron Warman built the place he liked to do everything first class. He spent a ton of money on the details and worked his butt off keeping it up. The well that keeps the lake full during the summer comes out at a waterfall in the turn Island. 5 boat slips with hydraulic lifts, ski lockers in the boat house are fed from the furnace to keep the gear dry, paved parking lots, flushing toilets (no port-a -potties), the list goes on and on.
  2. @OB I see, there must be a story behind that one......
  3. @Wish guys to that all the time around here and I have done it in the past. It's about 50 miles up to the mountain.
  4. @OB I'm not sure what you mean by that. but in the video Matt's kids are walking by a concrete bench. No blanket there.
  5. @schroed I am not sure that will happen. Ron Warman built the lake and put on the Regionals in 05 but sold the lake to Matt McCuddy in 08. That is so much work I'm not sure Matt is up to it. but maybe. @Wish thanks for the compliment, it's just kinda fun putting them together. It is Mount Hood in the background.
  6. Last weekend was real nice in the NW. Here is another short video of the the weekend.
  7. @PBD I agree that most GoPoro shots are strange as best, but it is a really nice camera with great video quality if used correctly. Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it.
  8. @Brady Warman Lake is in Vancouver Washington
  9. Here is a little sample of what can be done with the R/C heli & a GoPro.
  10. I agree with @Jibbo those machines are amazing and certainly can keep up with the boat but this is not an inexpensive toy either. Here is a showreel for some locals guys, amazing what can be done with these things.
  11. @E_T The one that I have was about $650.00 be fore the transmitter. Transmitters are anywhere from $125 to $450 depending on what you what. they are certainly not cheap and have a learning curve as how to fly them. The range is there to fly all the way down the lake but you would never be able to see which way it is flying that far away with having first person view camera on board.
  12. Well the secret to not putting it at the bottom of the lake is to learn how to fly it then pray for no failures in the air. I am pretty sure I won't fly over open water, I think I will just stick to the private sites that I know where the bottom is.
  13. @jcamp you can get them several ways, kit that you assemble or you can get them ready to fly. here is a link to the supplier for my product. http://www.uavproducts.com/category.php?id_category=10
  14. @addkerr will do and I am looking forward to some cool Aerials.
  15. #addkerr here is a video I did just yesterday showing my rig that I plan on using this year for my ski videos.
  16. For some reason I decide that I needed to have this after 32 years of skiing and this year getting shoulder surgery. Nothing elaborate just simple!

  18. I have had an amazing amount of views on this video. thanks guys for watching!
  19. @Brent thanks so much, I keep trying to find ways to make them interesting. @FrankS I don't know of any schools in AZ. it's not like there are a lot of lakes but most of them just have private homes on them.
  20. That's pretty funny @Garn had not noticed but they are pretty nice vests.
  21. Considering the rain and cold I would really like to be back there now...... In case anyone is interested Buchli is having another two, 3 round tournaments this next weekend.
  22. @Stevie Boy guess that did sound like a promo ad. all you need to do is sign up for the tournaments, but just make sure you sign up early because they fill up in February. Or you could just buy a lot there, still some for sale.
  23. Arizona in October is the best place to be for a northern skier. Here is the video from the trio of sites in Arizona.
  24. Geez @richarddoane it's drysuit time for you half way into the summer you don't really count on the "Man up" scale for us NW skiers.
  25. that bright orange thing showed up on my doorstep today thanks to @richarddoane, headed to Phoenix tomorrow, guess we will have to see how it goes for 6 rounds of tournament over the weekend.
