  1. Here is another great way to increase finger, hand and forearm strength at a low cost, easy to do anytime - anywhere. http://www.rei.com/product/478028/gripmaster-hand-strengthener http://static.cl1.vanilladev.com/ballofspray.vanillaforums.com/uploads/FileUpload/3c/ecbabd858b9ccf035ec25f148299eb.jpg
  2. http://www.taylormadeproducts.com/dockprod.html The Heavy Duty Vinyl Dock Bumbers if the link doesn't go direct Here is another option from Taylormade - available at West Marine and such but I got mine on-line for a lot less. They're like a boat bumper as they are slightly inflated with air, mount easily to a 2 x 6 and work great.
  3. dude, I think you may be headed to the principal's office with that one
  4. The Ski Paradise w/ Andy is a good video but somewhat technical. Gordon's 12 slalom drills is an excellent "basic" video that can help build correct habits. Be careful, there is one out there (can't remember right off hand which one and don't want to guess) that has some fairly explicit song lyrics that are not appropriate for an 11 yr old, too bad because it's not a bad video.
  5. Maybe a Berkeley, one things for sure, that two handle set up would make one handed gates a real beee otch Hearing a little Axl is always nice
  6. I'm with Than, limit is 38 air and water doesn't really matter, it usually hovers around 40 - 42 in Dec/Jan so I'd be a 78. Water generally stays in liquid form all winter and as long as it's liquid and 38 air temp or above, it's a GO!
  7. Finally had all together for a photo or two Beautiful day out at Ski Park last Sat.
  8. I'll follow you Get me outta here Let's rip it let's see what that Pinto has (when skiiing behind the MC) Giver' all shes got (again when behind the MC) Hammer it boyz The three of us always try and come up with something different - key word there is three of us, we know each other well and words really aren't even necessary, two of us (Nauti owners) just like to rag on the MasterCrap!!
  9. Box arrived today - full of BOS decals - too cool, watch out honey, you're about to get a BOS decal across your butt! Thanks Mark
  10. let me know as soon as you get burgundy, if you do, as well as a silver or gray (I'm not picky am I??) Thanks, Ron
  11. usaski1 Sorry if this is a repeat question but are you offering different color vinyl like burgandy? Have to match the Strada graphics ya know - and maybe a 6" or 8" size? Thanks
  12. Another thumbs up for Wileys - for just about anything you need for rippin' it up (OK Darren/Steph - you can send the boat show tix to me now!)
  13. I hope you're in the Seattle/Tacoma area, that would be a place I would come and have a few cold ones.
  14. Here at ski paradise now, absolutely beautiful. Secondtrip but first in new villa - 5 star all the way, skied first sets today with 5 more days to go. may have some pis later, just tell the wife you have a once in a life time job interview you have to go to and take the grief later!
  15. Holy Crapola John, you've just given me the "next" great idea - internet connectivity for pertuity. We've just installed wireless around our cemetery but had not considered offering wireless connectivity from "the grave"!! Keeping people connected from beyond! Now just how to keep those batteries from going dead, oopps, we don't like to use that word.
  16. Also in Seattle area, ski all winter except as RD said, downpours or freezing rain (that hurts), our bottom air temp is 38, any below if just too cold on the face and the fun factor fades pretty quick. In all honesty on a nice winter morning with the sun out, pot of coffee in the boat, glass water and the whole lake (public w/ a course) to ourselves, there is not much better. We actually prefer the quietness of winter, even with the cold, over the summer competing with the yahoooooooos and bozos.
  17. I got a shot of Andy - could not have been better if I actually knew what I was doing!
  18. Ditto tj and ed, I measured out some poly rope at 180.4, put it on an extension cord plastic reel with a stainless snap hook on the end, clip it on the entry gate cable and slowly motor out, when you reach the end drop your cement block with premeasured line and bungee/ball, reel the rope back up. I use some "noodle" foam (like a sub buoy) towards the end of the line, we have lost a couple of "pre balls" to the yahooooers since we are on a public lake. The noodle keeps the line near the top and easy to find to attach a new ball when needed. If you're not on a public lake, you won't have the "yahoo" problem but still makes the line easy to find if the ball gets hit or taken off.

    Shaq VS

Shaq would just sink, and take a good boat with him!http://www.ballofspray.com/vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif
  20. Got a look at the 2011 Strada, red graphics, a little more "carbon" appearance and a red anodized fin and fin block. Kind of cool. Price up a buck and a half but supposedly no changes to the ski itself. Was kind of hoping for a few refinements or tweaks for an excuse to justify a new one. Dang
  21. Now my only dilemma is trying to justify to my wife why I "need" to buy the Strada.  Jam Man Jam Man - Your only dilemma should be to justify to your wife why you "HAD" to buy the Strada!http://www.ballofspray.com/vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif Not "WHY you need to buy a Strada Go for it and apologize later Ron
  22. Proctologist with a sense of humor?
  23. Thanks all for your responses, we'll be looking for the "balls" in July and appreciate the offers guys. If we can pitch in and support the course at all, we are certainly willing to do so, I know first hand the cost of keeping a course together. Â Ron
  24. Fellow Washington skiers - any ski courses around Crescent Bar, Columbia River up above Vantage a bit? Going over in July for a week and would like to find a course to run. Thanks
