  8. Thanks all, have skied w/ Andy twice and is awesome. Skied w/ Jody once in Acapulco and was very good. Have not skied w/ Ross so leaning towards a repeat w/ Jodi or trying Ross, just wanted to get some opinions for Florida. Will look into the rental car since State will pick up the tab. Really looking forward to some warm water skiing other than the Pacific Northwest - damn it's cold up here!
  9. Water don't really care as long as it's liquid and air, our minimum is 36 so may be around a 76 total. What's that equate to?? Besides insanity?
  10. Headed to Orlando for a confrence in Feb. I've done some searches for ski sites for a couple days of lessons. I'll be staying at the Caribe Royale at 8101 World Center Dr. and am wondering what is within a reasonable taxi ride or potential car rental from this area? Have skied with Jody F. before and would be most interested in hooking up with him if close or looking for other recommendations from some ballers in this area. Will take ski and such if can make this work for some lessons on either a mon - tues or fri - sat. Thanks for suggestions!

  13. @MickeyThompson, dude you make some awesome tires, used to run them back in the 60's. How 'bout developing the next generation of safer buoys? Radials? Bias? All Season Z rated!!!
  14. something like "mini hydrofoils" in the front portion to keep the tip engaged?????
  15. +1 on NAPA, pull yours out and take in with you for matching.
  16. Been using the Masterline .888 for several years, work great for me, no issues.
  17. @PatM - thought I might be the only FD and Embalmer! Good to see another. Current President of Funeral Home and Cemetery in University Place WA @T8skier did you know Robin Sclair, also a Fed Ex pilot out of Seattle WA?
  18. near 80 in Seattle last two days - no more drysuit, water at 60. Spray burn never felt better! So glad to be back in a shorty.
  19. @robscholl-OF missed you at the ball this year, hope all is well and glad no reason to see each other, professionally that is!!
  20. @gator1 OK, gotta give ya that, East side does suck in winter, grew up in the Valley (CVHS!) Skied Diamond, Priest, Newman, Liberty a lot in the 60's - 70's, great summers but winters sucked, cold and snow. I'd have my boat tucked in a nice heated garage if I was still on the East side.
  21. @gator1 Are you kidding - BOS a BAD influence? Southern Boys?? Us "Boys" up here in Washington State never do put those boats away and rip it, don't whine, kick ass all year long. BOS is the lifeline of the true "hard core" bad ass rippers!!!!
  22. We like to call this the "Trifecta" - rip the water up in the am, hit the golf course for 18 mid day and some good powder night skiing at Crystal. Life is GOOD!
  23. Used clinchers for many years and when they went defunct, I bought 4 pair of Prolocks two yrs ago, was afraid they would not continue production and am hooked (ya I know) on this style glove. I really like the Pro locks and am still on the first pair, ski yr round so these gloves get 12 months a yr use. +2 on Prolocks but in fairness, have not tried the Vice gloves. I use the .888 Masterline handle.
  24. I think the late 70's Connelly Hook's and Comp's with their unique inlaid wood were some of the best looking skis ever made, even to today, still have my 63" 1976 Hook and still looks beautiful.
