  1. Be careful, doesn't Officer Friendly live East of I-5??? And Broho is East of I-5. Maybe no life East of Snoqualmie Pass!
  2. Doesn't work - Arizona nor Alaska are not AA, Oregon is not ON, Idaho isn't IO, Montana's not MA
  3. Each spring when I go from dry suit to shorty, I get the rear leg spray burn, lasts for about a week and then the muscle(s) adjust/adapt and it is no longer an issue. Sorry I can't rule out bad form for you because I know my form is laughable but I really think it is more as Shane states and until your muscle adjusts, it hurts.
  4. Lakewood (Tacoma). Didn't know if you were Pierce County or local. I know a lot of area (Lakewood, Tacoma, Pierce Co.) PD so was wondering if you were more local. Would be nice to meet you some day. I was intimately involved with the 4 Lakewood PD killed and then Deputy Mundell. Thank you for what you do to serve our communities!
  5. Hey OF, what detatchment/agency do you work out of
  6. Donski, FWIW, I should get my ZAPS insoles tomorrow and will fit them to my animals. Will ski this weekend and give feedback. I also get sore feet and am going to try these in my daily dress shoes as well. Have used/tried the Dr's. and SF without much success but the ZAPS look like they are worth a try. $55 but what the heck, well worth it if (big if) they help/work. check out h20proshop for info on ZAPS.
  7. Thanks Richard, I bought a 66 from Eddie (through Darren) and have never skied better, want to try a 65, that "nimble" feeling is just what I'm thinking that 65 will provide. Give us more input when he gets more time on the ski.
  8. Richard, I've been on the 66" since Nov and love it. Want to try a 65" so would be very interested in your son's views of this length vs the 66". What is his height & weight? Thanks
  9. Wiley's has a couple different ones, give Darren a call or email in Seattle, he'll hook ya up
  10. Dawg (and all other dogs, yes me included) just google sports ill swimsuit Danika and you can check out her photo shoot, well worth the visit. A word of caution - not for those with weak hearts or high blood pressure.
  11. All Masterlines, 3 12", 1 13" and 1 11", all radius except the 11" which is a straight carbon and all are .888 diameter. Preference is to the 12" radius .888 Have TW's arm guards on them all after nearly having my arm ripped off last year with a through the handle, if you don't have one, regardless of what you use for a handle, get an arm guard. I know, shameless plug for TW but these injuries can and do happen.
  12. h2odawg79, ok the "dawg" is coming out here!! The good news is, you are manly enough to admit your short comings and you recognize "smokin hot" when you see it. All is not lost, Ski on!
  13. Got sets in during both asphalt repairs, back in with 7 laps to go, what a finish. Then got to see big Johnny, The Force is back. Danika will definately make NASCAR a little more exciting, she would make anything more exciting, wonder if she skis? If not, she would be a great driver!
  14. There is nothing better than skiing this time of year in Washington, no yahoos, no bayliners, no wake boarders. Ski on public lake w/ course and the water is ours, today was awesome, sunny and 58. For those interested, the Strada rocks. I am skiing 28's so consistent on this ski, in the winter, in a dry suit, I can't wait for warmer temps and getting out of the drysuit and into 32. I've run 32 once but feel by this summer on the Strada, I'll be running 32 consistent and hope to get into 35. If you have a chance, you need to try this ski, coming off an A1, which is also a great ski, the Strada has a more consistent off side turn than any ski I've been on. Anyone want to buy a barely used 66" A1?
  15. Also saw these at the Seattle show last night (EXO Forms), new versions of this set up are sure to come. I think the only way out of these is an OTF, especially the front foot, a little concerning. No front release as Richard stated. I do like the low rear cuff on this set but would feel the rear foot might come out before the front or a complete release of the plate from the ski. Set up looks nice and expectations are high, will be interesting to hear feedback once these hit the water but I think I'm waiting to try these until some data is back from those that have. I applaud HO for investing time & $$ in a trying to improve upon the hardshell/hybrid options, good things to come.
  16. I picked up the Strada Boots today so hopefully the weather cooperates the next few days, I really liked the Strada w/Animals so will see how the new boots are. Did not care for the RS1s but do like the looks of these and the improvements over the RS1s look positive.
  17. Have three days on the Strada, right out of the boat and ran the smoothest, easiest 28 off I can remember, turns on both sides were effortless and very stable, early to all 6 balls. Little edge hunt in glide, just keep on outside edge and go. I think I'm going to have to pick one of these up, will try next with the Strada boots, didn't really like the RS1s but will give the Stradas a shot. It's tough to really get a good comparison when it's so cold but overall, I like this ski. FWIW
  18. Got my hands on a 66" today and hope to rip it the next four or five days, no rain expected so should be a go. Ski on a A1 and really like it so will be interesting (at least for me) to compare these skis and see how I do on the Strada. Can't wait for tomorrow, think I'll sleep with the ski, my wife really does understand.
