  1. My real name is.......... wait for it........ Mark Chill-cut.
  2. For me each revision of the Vapor over the years has felt better and easier. New stuff good!
  3. @ISP6ball I am 185 lbs 5' 9" tall and occasionally run -35 at 34mph. For me the 67" senate pro felt like to much surface area while pulling from buoy to center line. It turned awesome on both sides but I feel like I can create more space into the buoy on my Vapor.
  4. I am on the 67" 19 Vapor and love it. I tried the 67" Senate Pro last fall and also loved it. I would say the Vapor is a better fit for my weight and line lengths. I would be interested in trying the senate in a 66 if they made that size.
  5. Our new prostar is awful at taking gas at the pump. Super slow. If using a gas can its no problem gas flows right in. Wondering if it has to due with the air in the gas at the pump. Anyone else having this problem and if so have you found a fix? Thanks, Mark
  6. The Utah Mastercraft promo boat was paid for in full by the promo guy. The promo guy has an agreement that he can return the boat for full reimbursement after 12 months or keep the boat. No brainer if you have the extra coin sitting around and want to rock the tightest boat in the industry.
  7. @skimtb it’s not the stock high altitude prop. Stock is 712 mine is 712-MF. It has more cup I guess. At sea level they use a 4 blade 709 I think and run lower rpm. 34mph 3600 36mph 3800. We also run the 709 on the 6.2 up here and it works great. 5.7 won’t turn the 709 up here.
  8. Update. The 2018 5.7 Prostar at 4300 ft above sea level is killing it at 36mph pulling short line! I bought a 3 blade (712-MF) from Eric at OJ. Its a modified 712 that helps lower RPM's and put my boat into the sweet spot for towing slalom at high altitude. The ZO is surging as intended no problems and getting perfect times on all segments through -38 @ 36 mph skiers weight is about 180. The hole shot is insane strong and the boat gets right up to speed long before the 55's. The peak torque on this engine is found at 4200rpm's Currently seeing 4100 rpm @34 and 4300 rpm @36. This was with one passenger in the boat. This testing was done in cold water and cool air temp of around 55F. I am sure we will lose a little performance as the air temp gets hotter this summer but not the least bit worried about it. I was so hesitant and worried going from the 6.2 to the 5.7. So so impressed with my new MasterCraft Prostar!
  9. https://forum.ballofspray.com/discussion/20126/all-new-2019-senate-pro Great thread for you to check out
  10. I use them when I slalom ski and have never lost a lens.
  11. @UWskier we will still have to test at the other lake which is 5000ft and the shorter set up. Regardless of that what I experienced on Saturday with the 3 blade high altitude prop told me I have no worries or concerns at 34 mph at the higher lake with shorter set up!!! Totally stoked with our new 5.7!
  12. I know Bruce. We love our new to us mellow yellow and do miss our 2014 sparkles
  13. @Horton my guess is your next Prostar will have sparkles!
