  1. At least you got to ski this morning ! I was staring out my kitchen window at a perfectly glass calm lake with no one to ski . Not even a ripple.
  2. @Tyler you will not like it coming off a tsc. Have not skiid only drove one. But the wake looks pretty big compared
  3. I was really hoping for a ski boat first out if this one. Even though I can't afford it anyway. The TXI is probably the most versatile boat , putting slalom first
  4. I found the cable spun too fast for me. I'm novice trick skier though. As mentioned if you fall you walk back . So may wait till close to the start to attempt tricks. I found it hard going all the way around. On turn two I did superman into a face plant. I will not be trying it again. Have hard enough time behind the boat !
  5. Just passing this along for a friend. I don't know much about it , but can find out anything you may want to know. 16k
  6. I was at SAMs Club Saturday and some sales guy was doing demos on Ibiz waterless cleaners / wax. Made all sorts of claims and promises to eliminate and prevent waterspots and so on. 3 pack kit with a waterless cleaner , a wax and a combo concentrate. I haven't been great at pulling my boat out everyday , in fact sometimes staying up to a week on my dock. We all know how brutal ski lake waterspots can be. ? So I figure wtf, for $50 I'll try it. I put my boat on Friday and pulled it Sunday. Waterspots were already on the bad side. I did a straight vinegar wash. As always , but this time followed up with the Ibiz. Was a bit nervous it wouldn't ruin the boat. Can't say it's a miracle product , but the boat came out great . Especially since it didn't start out that way prior to launching on Friday. I put boat back in today , but pulled it just now. This is where I really noticed an improvement. Hardly any waterspots stuck. It hardly took much of a wipe down. I believe if I had started the season with a fresh clean waxed boat. Then applied the Ibiz , leaving the boat in would not be a big deal. Hopefully doesn't ruin finish down the line ! Attached is pic after first application after boat was in lake for 3 days , in hot California sun , extremely hard water. Boat has 1765 hours !
  7. From what I heard , Centurion bought a 1993 prostar. If anything probably to get some ideas. Doubt it's a complete splash.
  8. @TallSkinnyGuy came over to my house to ski yesterday. cool to meet another baller. Gifted me a killer pair of flip flops. In fact wore them last night to dinner and all day today . That's the way to get invited back!
  9. @OTF some may say slalom skiing is a waste of good water !! They run 6 one hour sessions a day. About 20 kids each session at $20. Open everyday for about 3 months during summer. You do the math !!
  10. We have two cable parks within 30 minutes of my house. Both have these floating obstacle courses. This one is in Woodland , Ca. Minutes from Sac Airport. Really cool to wear out the kids . Wore me out and kicked my butt too !
  11. No but funny you mention it. Just came across it on a Google search. That may. work.
  12. About 8 years ago I bought some sea deck type material from some guy outside of Sac CA. Can't find him now. Basically sold off of rolls and I cut it myself for wheel well step protection and a gunwale step. Anyone know of supplier for similar product ?
  13. Don't know but you may want to specify which year Lxi , the lx I believe is for the most part unchanged.
  14. @303Skier if he doesn't want it I might be interested , is that all you need to upgrade from classic ? I'm assuming need thr gauge is well
  15. I experience this quite a bit . Im in outside sales , pretty much set my own schedule and often work from home . I have lots of flexibility during the daytime. It pains me sometimes looking out my back window and seeing a glassy lake and no one to ski with !
  16. I have great memories as a kid going to Lake Shasta and houseboating. Always look forward to Wednesday nights at Silverthorne to catch the water ski show . I've been trying for years to get a group together to go up again but could never pinpoint a date that works for everybody . So this year I just said screw it and went with wife and kids ,just the four of us . I'm gonna try make it back maybe at the end of the season as the rates drop significantly after August 15 .
  17. Rented a houseboat there last week . Had an awesome time . Lake is really high and conditions were awesome . Don't think there's a ski school out there anymore . But I wasn't looking for it . In fact left my boat at home and only took the Jetski. Live on a ski lake so was fine without skiing for a few days. Holiday Harbor would be the only place that may offer some lessons but there's no course out there that I'm aware of . Take a portable out there and set it up and have fun. I've done that in the past and it's pretty easy to find cove to yourself to do it in.
  18. Maybe too much but looks good. https://goldcountry.craigslist.org/boa/5640347968.html
  19. Like to replace cable soon. Neither ski dim or nautique parts.com are answering phones. Assuming due to high volume . Dont want to order wrong one. Is this the one ?
  20. Wow that's quite the color !
