  10. still have time to return the ski and use the credit towards vtype r. I only paid 599 for it. so I'd likely have to fork out about another 900 bucks. don't know if that's worth it or not maybe just make the V-type work for me
  11. radio reception likely always bad on a boat. tower speakers could be loose connection at the tower. may try posting specifics at team talk at Mastercraft site.

  16. I am curious as well. I picked up a vtype last week as it was a deal to good to pass on. all I know is that the R has a different rocker.
  17. came across this one on one of my guest skiis.
  18. got my hands on a vtype to try out. I am liking it based on minimal use. anyhow I love my D3 leverage bindings and did not want to try the ski without. I have tried various other bindings including hybrid and hard shells and keep going back. my front switched over problem free. rear I switched onto an HO plate. after my first set my binding ripped out of the plate . plate was bent and still on ski. boot still on foot. blame myself partly as I had to modify plate to accomadate d3. borrowed an HO approach binding and upon completing set , plate was also now bent. boot stayed on. it looks like the spread on mounting points on the HO system is about 1" longer than d3. so somehow I am bending the plate. did not like the approach by the way and cut set short after a few close call OTF s. I bent back first plate and re modified Plate and larger screws into my leverage. let's hope it doesn't fly off ! Any one else bending the plate ? I think it's mostly happening while removing binding. not doing anything different
  19. I love no islands ,never skied on a lake without them till now. so much more room ! less work turning around them.
