skied today . luckily it was no longer mid 60'sand raining. just my luck. better than No skiing I guess.

I'd be willing to pay and put up in a rv with full bathroom to use attached to the house. still cheaper than day care! I'm close to sac state , chico state and uc davis.

I need to find a boat driving nanny in the summer . will need to check the college ski teams .

nicest day I've had since moving here and no one to ski with. finished work early and it's mid 60's no wind. boat just will have to sit in garage another day. guess it's beers on the dock instead.

You may not love having an outboard so much if you forget to raise it before driving off !

Even better than Saran wrap is that packing stretch wrap. Can get at home depot. Works great. Tip I got from Robby at sunset .

your basically describing the Malibu lxi. just go with that. cant go wrong. PP does not require frequent adjustments unless you looking for dead on ABT everytime. just set it and forget. you wont notice the difference yet. I never adjust my classic other than crew and skier and it always in tolerance and feels great.

So I am pretty much a wuss when it comes to the cold. So before going to the trouble of launching the boat getting all my ski gear ready I decided to test the waters. I put on my Camaro full suit , then my dry suit over the top and ski gloves. Jumped on in and I felt perfectly comfortable . quickly found out that my dry suit had a pretty bad leak and my leg was full of water. So I decided to take the dry suit off and just get in with the Camaro suit only. To my surprise I was still perfectly comfortable completely amazed by this. Water temp has been hovering in the low 40s.

I would scrap the 197 and replace with new prostar. Also add txi . Out of your current choices I would bet on the nautique.

My current pair which I can't remember what they are right now , come apart every pass. So fricken annoying. But they fit and grip well. I want to say they are masterlines. These look awesome without the Velcro problems. I'm gonna get me some

$229 blank though. Unless I'm reading it wrong. I don't mind used but not much in this category on ski it again. Garage sales may be a good place but rather not spend a weekend morning doing that.

Have been paying $1800 or so since I statred this crazy addiction of chasing bouys in early 2000's. Just moved on to a ski lake so this year it will be quite a bit more !

It doesn't seem like that hull would allow for a trim tab.

Only been to ski Acapulco in my early stages of running the coarse and a handful of clinics at the ski clubs I have belonged to. It's always the opposite for me. I always ski worse . Likely due to nerves and trying to implement new techniques.

@Horton I agree with you , but having a lake 20ft from my back door for the first time , makes it to tempting to jump in and ski !
