Sacramento not a great destination but lots of sites to choose from close to an airport. Lake Minden I mentioned in a different post would make an excellent venue. Camping for all, plenty of room for every baller

I'm guessing G200 as well. A G styled boat based on a 200. Blunt nose direct drive with surf tabs , lots of ballast.

Does this event replace the Malibu Open ?

I don't know what they could really do to the g series. They already have a 21, 23 and 25. And those boats are pretty dialed.

I'm thinking its power plant related. Hybrid , V6 , electric? What ever happened to that electric 196? Collecting dust somewhere ? It's been 4 years.

Highly doubt it's 196. That's not a game changer. It's been done. An entry level wake boat has also been done by mc and Malibu . So not really a game changer either. A world class all event boat would be a game changer. But don't see how that is possible.

My 4 y/o son has pretty much been a scaredy cat since day one. Scared of his own shadow. Until recently he wouldn't even walk on a floating dock out to the boat in fear he would fall in. I really hoped for an early start on the water with him ,but also didn't mind that he has had total respect for water and the dangers. I'm Not really sure what changed this last week but he raced BMX for the first time , after only being off training wheels a couple weeks, and this Saturday decided to give the ez ski a try. After a 1 pass was already no handing it. I'm proud as can be but now I gotta watch out for this kid. He grew some balls this last week !!

Ski Brendella Spectrum can be had cheap if you can find one.

I was out for a drive yesterday with the family and I saw signs for this place so we decided to go by and check it out. Of course the first thing I thought when I pulled in is , this place would make an awesome waterski site! However it is just a large RV resort with paddleboats canoeing and fishing. Talked to the guy at the register office about the lake and he did say that sometimes the hold special events like mini hydroplane boat races. The lake is 4 feet deep and has great wind protection. All I could think about was how this lake would be so awesome to ski . With all the amenities like the large RV camping areas , cottages the restaurant , the store I think this place would be great for a big tournament. Pained me to see this big beautiful potential ski lake with only two paddleboats out on it!

And best would be bubble butt nautique and carbon pro

I used too ski there too , I don't know of anybody who still does. I stopped by not long ago to check out some wakeboarding and eat lunch. They have a beach hut deli and sell beer. No one on the ski lake , but it looked good. I like that they paved the road in and parking.Used to be all dirt. The only downfall I can see is that the owners priority is in the cable park and now that obstacle course.

Ski behind an infinity , then you will have a whole new perspective on " bump @22". In fact I would call it a fire hydrant open full blast
