  1. Forget the ski.....I am digging the washers Seth is using on the front plate. I seem to be hard on that area of my Reflex plate. He's on to something.
  2. I want to know how long or how many cuts it took to make that video. That was a lot of speak about the design of the ski. Oh, and I want one.
  3. I like the propane fire pit, we could use one of those for next year.
  4. We spent 3 hours breaking ice so we could ski. 5 years in a row at Mint Lake.
  5. That was fun to watch and I loved the jump off.
  6. I wonder what this will do to PCM. Will the other boat manufacturers who currently use the PCM engine decide to go someplace else? I worry that they may decide they don't want to support the competition and switch back to Indmar or some other engine builder. I love PCM and after having the others I would always choose a PCM boat over any other.
  7. From what I have been told, MC is pulling back on its promo program too.
  8. 14 tournaments this year. Lots of time at the lake pulling friends. Practice 5 days a week.
  9. Either way, I wish this thread would just go away. Its history, let it rest. I love the Bigdawg and can't wait for next years Broho event.
  10. Those look really nice! The only thing I wish they had is the limited backwards movement like the black reflex boot setup. Otherwise those are a big improvement and very enticing.
  11. I tried the boots mounted at the 30.25". The ski felt like it didn't want to role on edge but once I got it on edge it bit hard. I moved my front reflex back one hole to around 30" and the ski felt great.
  12. @skidawg‌ never mind I found them already.
  13. I don't have numbers for it but that is one of the best looking ski of all time. I had one and loved it.
  14. @skidawg what are you settings? I just received my new 68"
  15. @gregy that is exactly what I dealt with on my Strada. I just ordered a Vapor yesterday and I am hoping the unpredictable turns don't show up again. From watching some of the other skiers on it I am excited.
  16. I can't wait to show this to my boys tonight! Thanks for sharing.
  17. Yep, Domednumbers does a great job.
  18. Such a cool event. I got to meet a lot of great people and I saw what real skiing is all about. Jeff Rogers is a true gentleman. Seth is a great guy, Badal was fun to talk to and Bishop was fun to watch! I had a great time and it was inspiring.
  19. Heater and heated seat are a must. If there was an option for a heated steering wheel I want it too.
  20. As I mentioned above, the new throttle that is coming on the 15 boats is able to be used on the 13 and 14 boats. I have not used the new throttle yet but my boat will be here in a month or so.
  21. This boat is loaded with extra stuff on the passenger side of the boat. Big amp, sub, battery charger...
  22. No we didn't have the Hydro Gate in the trick mode. The boat has the right prop too. I also did not ski up to my potential but it had nothing to do with the boat. The only thing I did notice was the boat crew that started off in the boat was not sitting in the boat so it was level. I asked the judge twice to move more to the center of the boat to level it out. He didn't. After the boat crew change I instructed them to have the judge sit more in the center of the boat and he did. Tom, Come to Mint Friday for practice and I'd love to pull you again behind the boat. I'm confident you'll really like it.
  23. @behindpropellers‌ take a look at the cable that attaches to the back of the transmission. I would start by disconnecting the cable from the trany linkage, it disconnects with a quick disconnect fitting. Then cycle the throttle and determine if it is still too stiff. If it is I can email you the instructions of adjusting the resistance in the throttle assembly. If the throttle feels smooth then you need to look for any bend in the way the cable attaches to the trany linkage. I was able to bend the mounting point slightly to take some binding out of this linkage. The new 2015 boats have a new throttle and it is backwards compatible with the 2013/2014 boats. You can always call your dealer and get a price for the new throttle.
  24. Same thing happened to my wife. Aside from the ankle sprain. She was fine. She called Active Water Sports to find out if they had another set in stock and they suggested that they warranty the boots (very cool!) and then suggested we upgrade to the aluminum plate. She's happy and I am happy.
