I live south of Watts Bar on Chickamauga Lake. A few years ago I hunted down that Watts Bar course. When I found it, it was a loose floater with buoys missing in about five feet of water. It wasn't skiable at that time. The water conditions aren't bad for a public place to ski if the course was maintained.

It is so much easier to freeski without going to the trouble of setting up a course. You will be skiing in 1-2 minutes, no cranky fisherman hassles, you can choose a calm or rippled part of the lake to ski in, no expense of a slalom course, your boat stays cleaner, more time with your wife and little kids. Freeski gets you in better shape. Freeski is a no brainer.

I had a RLX with a bimini for 14 years. You are right on, the bimini does somewhat restrict access to the bow. The factory bimini that I had attached to the windshield so it was a higher type bimini instead of some of the lower mounted biminis.

I used to ski there some. I have contact information for several of the members there. Great conditions at No Wake. You will ski your best there.

Very, very, close call. JMac is absolutely in skiing position. Making the call at full speed from the boat or the towers. 1 1/2.

The risks of skiing definitely outweigh the benefits of skiing. Definitely an unhealthy activity.

webbdawg I know exactly how strong you are. You went to Regionals and ran 4 @ 35. Will Asher can go ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, in ANY CONDITIONS and run 3+ at 41. Skiing is all about strength.

Will Asher is incredible. Will Asher can go to any lake, anywhere in the world and run 3+ at 41. Will runs about 17 more buoys than you do. That makes Will about 17 buoys stronger than you. Short answer, you have to get stronger to improve your offside.

On our public lake I am seeing much less wakeboarding and a lot more jetskiing. A lot cheaper to own a jetski than a $100 k wakeboard boat.

I heard there is no Legends Division this year...so many joint replacements they can't pass through metal detectors at airport.

Anybody have the product number of the flexible bottom coating on Goode skis. I think it is a 3M product. I had it written down but can't find it.

@glock . Does the boat run great now? Does it have cruise? If it runs great and has cruise just take the monkey bars off and go ski.

Great skiing! Very even, symetrical, and smooth. You just need time on the water.
