  1. you looked! you must be a closet skiflyer!!! Once a jumper always a jumper!
  2. Anyone take a look at SkiFly message board today? Looks like the aynonamous posting days are gone.
  3. Some of you my not know this but Austin comes from a true waterski industry back ground as his Great great grand father was the founder of Correct Craft, his great grand father is none other then Mr. Ralph Meloon. Good kid that has applied himself to the sport. When Austin comes on site he is a very likeable and a helpfull young man. His younger brother is a pretty fair three event skier also.
  4. I would have to say that this year their was a bit of a break thru with utilizing Zero Off. Skiing wash to wash rather then off the bouy.
  5. How about a 2010 200 OB with a six liter?? one would be suprised what they can get this boat for!!
  6. 250 hours on a GT-40 = trailer queen!!! /vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif Nice looking motor though!!! Bet the rest of the boat is just as nice!!!
  7. It is a synthetic and if you have any kind of small leak or weep it will manifest itself into somthing bigger as all synthetic's really do a good job of cleaning out sludge deposits and internal Grawdue. If you feel your motor is clean enough and does not have any leakage then yes either a high mileage casterol or syntec typ oil will enhance your motors performance and internal cleaning. It is always better to utilize a synthetic after break in and stay with it. The Royal purple is rather expensive at around $9.00 per QT but I have had good luck with it in all my performance motors. Also remember to utilize the manufacturers recomended weight of oil even with Synthetics and make sure they have the correct amount of recomended additives in it.
  8. Initial few times on the water it is good to just utilize the boat for a couple of hours at a 2500-3500 RPM range with a few power ups to 4500 and a 10 sec hold then back to the 2500-3500 range again for a couple of hours. This can be done pulling kids, trick skiing and general cruising around the lake. After the inital 2-3 hour run-in then utilize it like you would normaly ski or use the boat. Extended running above the 4600RPM range at this early part of the break in is not what I would recomend until the first oil change. I like to change the oil the first time at anywhere between 15 and 20 hours and not utilize a synthetic until after the second oil change or at about 50 hours. I run primarly 6 liters and have found that they wake up at about 60-70 hours and at that point I start with the Royal Purple 15w-40. Then again??? The ski schools dont break in their boats in that fashion they just put it in the mix and get on with the day!!!
  9. Jamie, Need e-mail address. mine is floridainboardsatmsndotcom
  10. Hi Jamie, Replacement Ford parts are redily available. Blocks, heads and rotating assemblys. I currently have two Core 351-w motors that are of the GT-40 HP varity. What is not available anymore are re-power complet GT-40 motors, in fact I may have bought the last one two years ago for a Orlando customer. CorrectCraft Fan is a good informational source forold Correct Craft information. If you are still looking for a PS-190 I know of an 09 here in Florida. Has real high hours and needs re-upolstry as it was at a ski school but the price is really right!!!
  11. In the words of Harry Belafonte! A pretty woman makes her husband look small, And very often causes his downfall. As soon as he marries her, then she starts, To do the things that will break his heart. But if you make an ugly woman your wife, You'll be happy for the rest of your life. An ugly woman cooks meals all the time, She'll always give you peace of mind. Something to think about if you are having the nut-zo's

  17. Kelvin, My record for changing out a PCM impeller on a serpintine motor (Direct Drive)Â is 2 min 31 sec.
  18. I picked up a few pairs early this season for a few of my customers and found them as with all the masterline gloves to run small.
  19. I tried to get one of those pull overs on last year and darn near dislocated a shoulder trying to get it off. Would be interested in a Eagle side or front zip. Black and Blue??
  20. Sorry Alberto, Just sent you an e-mail and yes it is still for sale. Rev-R is just around the corner!!
  21. My .02 cents worth is that every one that has skied behind both my 200's that ski slower speeds and at 15 off seem to all agree that the wakes are better then the previous SN, softer and smaller or that the wake is more gradual then steep. As for "ME" I have found that "ALL" manufacturers have a rough 22' off bump at 34mph. I have since stopped skiing at that line length and decided to learn how to start at 28' off, even if it is the only completed pass I run.Overall it took me a couple of months and some of my own touches to become a believer in the 200. Funny my ski partner prefers to drive the open bow over the closed bow and me I prefer the closed. Both boats are 6 liters and run 13X15.5 oj props. I don’t see any worse fuel consumption then what a MC 5.7 (As I have Cory's boats to compare with or did as he is now moving over to Malibu) is using and only slightly worse then my 6 liter 196. We have the RPM's at slalom speeds in line with a 197 and provided drivers don’t over power it into the course both seem to be very fine and great overall ski boats. My son Stephen now has moved back over to tricking behind the 200 where as since the 196 came out he tricked behind MC's. His opinion is that the trick wakes are a little small on the 200 but with added weight in the rear (100#) the wakes are clean and have a ramp that he prefers for wake tricks, Also the trick table is much improved over the 196. As for jumping because of the exceedingly high ZO Gains in the Q201 program most of the jumpers that utilize these boats will come down 3-5 letters. Side note on the jump program I am going to go back and play with the standard Q200 program with my current prop set up and see how it works. Overall I think that the 200 has been a breath of fresh air for Nautiques and they have come out with a generally well accepted product in the 200 and it will be around for a few years to come until they come up with something more advanced and better! If that is possible..... To all you "Ballers" out their Happy Thanksgiving !Cheers!!Jody
  22. Ham! It's ok to admit to being a closet tricker, it is the first step to enlightment! Winter is a state of mind and for waterskiers it is a time of healing and recovery along with Football and college wrestling. The finest day of winter is Dec 21 the shortest day of the year, every day after gets better. Make the best of it, winter will soon be over! Sorry gotta go, Hooked on to the boat and headed to the lake for a couple ski rides, still no wet suit in the boat. Do we even have winter in Florida? Cheers!!!
  23. Wow! I was really hope-ing stupid cheap was under $500.00. Still at 1KÂ not a bad price!
  24. Cameras are going every where, check it out watch the guy dive out of the way
