We can only ski there from May thru Sept and during those months there are scheduled hours each day. Come by on a Wednesday night June thru August and you can ski with us in our Ski League.

@sully, Yes I'll be at Diablo. Actually just got back from there.

I've often wondered if Goode's spring mechanism is illegal under current USAWS rules?
8.03 Skis
D. No other devices are permitted, except that devices affixed to the ski intended
to control or adjust the skiing characteristics of the ski are allowed as long as
they are fixed, in that they do not move or change during actual skiing.

@sully don't forget you owe me a ride for that CR7 fin block I sent you a couple years ago. Also saw your TV commercial the other day.

Grassroots can be run with a Class C. Clubs that want to grow the sport just need to set up the event that way.
What I still don't understand is why USA Waterski and INT are separate organizations?
-
So will the fruit loop be making a comeback?

I like the current Grassroots program and think it's under utilized so maybe it needs a little more word of mouth advertising for more clubs to use it. $25 per event sanction fee and you get $100 for trophies and $100 for T-shirts. Only need a trained driver and a safety coordinator. Use any boat you want. Make your own rules to make it fun. Only $35 yearly membership fee. Minimal paperwork.
For the past 5 years the Berkeley Water Ski Club has run their Ski League under the Grassroots program, over 60 events.
What else could you want for a better Grassroots program?

@dave2ball try I'm selling the 2012 because he 2013 is way better!

@OB, Is that your lake or your pictures from nationals? :)

We were just talking about what to do with the Boa system after the gloves are done. I think Radar should offer an exchange program.

Tim Bradstreet's 221 off the 5 1/2 to win Jump was pretty impressive.

Does the MasterCraft back up like a Nautique and vice versa when south of the equator?
-
How about the guy running 38 off for the first time and only skiing his second year in tournaments. Filthy.
-
I thought taking the prop off will give you the smallest possible wake?
-
I'm trying to get one to try but my question is what do you do if it's long or short for tournament use? Will the arc bar make it too long?

Size Chart can be found in the online brochure: http://www.rideradarronix.com/radar_brochure/
63.5" 85-120 lbs
65" 110-145 lbs
66" 125-175 lbs
67" 160-190 lbs
68" 180-210 lbs
69.5" 200+ lbs
I'm 200 lbs and rode the 67" last year but I'm liking this year's 68" which is correct according to the chart. At 145 lbs stay on the 66".
Not sure what year ski these were for but the last numbers I saw from Rossi on the 66" were Boot 28 7/8, Length 6.843, Depth 2.505, DFT .755 Wing 9.

I'd rather hear what @ctsmith says.
-
@Laz They say you want to ride the biggest ski that you can turn and the 2012 does turn better than the 2011. It's tough to make any reccomendations without seeing you ski but with your weight and line the 68"could work. 35 off and up probably the 67". If you have the chance to ski both then you can be the judge.

I think the size chart is now more accurate on the new layup. My buddy and I have 2011's and both prefer the next size up on the 2012 Strada.

That's the problem with Stealth. People that buy them won't be able to see them.

Occupy Polk City? Sounds fun.

I know. That's why it cracks me up that a pro skier sponsored by MC who has knowledge of the new boat is called baised when dave2ball and his dad have owned over 30 Nautiques.

Yes, about 15 yrs ago our usage was cut by the city from 8 months/yr down to only 5 months because of migrating birds. Our hours of usage are negotiated with the rowing club who have no restrictions. We also have a site in the Delta which is open all year.
Established in the late '60s the Berkeley Aquatic Park is a historic site which has hosted a few Regionals, the '77 Nationals, a Pan-Am games event and the Cal Cup which were the first cash prize tournaments.
How many Ballers out there have skied or been to an event at the Aquatic Park?
